I bought the Anker Soundcore Boom 2 Plus and I LOVE IT. It's massive and has insane amounts of bass.
I can recommend the Soundcore Boom 2 and Soundcore Boom 2+ I personally use 2x Boom 2 and 1x Boom 2+ for outdoor parties and they are enough for about 50 people. If the Boom 2+ is too big you can also use 3-4x Boom 2 spread around the dance floor. But honestly you can start with 2x Boom 2 and see if they suit your needs. A bit more expensive option are 2x Jbl Xtreme 4. However I don't think that they are in any way superior to the Soundcore Boom 2. The key is to have 2 or more of these medium size speakers spread around the dance floor.
It's great, powerful and rly cheap speaker comparing to 2-3x more expensive jbl speaker
Just got the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus and it’s great. Bit huge but it’s the only version with an aux and it’s loud enough for busking. Low end sounds great on it, there’s a bass boost that’s a bit much but sounds nice.
Boom 2 plus and uboom x should be in the large category. Yes, they are lighter than others but they are 2-3 times the weight and size of the rest of the medium category.
Used this on our picket line during strike action. A solid performer.
