Speakers from Soundcore (Anker) and Tribit, especially under $100, provide the best value in the bluetooth speaker market at this time. The Soundcore Boom 2 is currently $99 in the US. Compact, 80 watts, waterproof. A good alternate for portability is the Boom 3i. Under $200, Boom 2 plus. Bar none for durability and extreme conditions, Turtlebox Ranger @ $250. Has a magnet built in, can be frozen solid, and even ran over by a car in some case.
I've used a Boom 2 that a family member has. It's great. Especially for $100. I use a Rave Neo 2 and it's incredible for its size. I got it for $110 2.5 years ago. I don't believe they sell those anymore though.
This. Motion 300 if you are after clarity and accuracy. It also supports hi-res codecs. The Boom 2 if you want a great "do it all" speaker. It's rugged, waterproof, floats, has good output, party lights, and can sync to other PartyCast enabled speakers.
Earfun Uboom L does. And it's a badass little speaker. And two of them in stereo is pretty impressive. Plenty of volume, great highs and mids and more than enough bass to get the job done well. They aren't bass monsters but they don't lack it either. I have a few sets of speakers and they are well loved, especially for he price. My Soundcore Boom 2 isy favorite right now, but only because of it's loud clear bass. Uboom L are very good speakers. They are super clear at low to medium volume, but they still hold it together at max volume. They don't distort and still sound good.
I love my Boom 2. Absolutely amazing speaker. Badass bass and everything else sounds amazing.
Soundcore and Tribit have been getting my money lately and I can't complain.
Yep, and they are $79 at Costco right now. I have one and it's amazing.
Tribit Stormbox Micro 2. I got a pair off Amazon for $49 each. They are normally $65 or so. I also have a pair of Uboom L's, they are a great system. One is really good, two is really great. My Soundcore Boom 2's are my boombox setup and it's awesome. They were on sale recently at Costco for $49. I would suggest the Boom 2 if you can find one at a good deal. If you can find one under $100 it's worth it, they are loud, have killer bass and have clear good sound quality.
And they are $49 at Costco right now. I just grabbed a second one. Two in stereo mode is absolutely killer.
Soundcore Boom 2 🤘
The boom 2 absolutely kicks @$. It thumps and has very clear audio. For the price it surpasses any expectations I could of had. Absolutely love it.
Soundcore Boom 2, $49 at Costco right now. 80 watts, deep bass, clear sound. Hard to beat.
I have two they I run in tws stereo. They are amazing, especially for the price. I won't be getting any new speakers anytime soon. I also have a pair of Tribit Strombox Micro 2's in stereo for my smaller portable needs. They absolutely kick @$$ for how small theu are. My Bluetooth speaker needs are more than satisfied.
This. ^ I have two of them I run in stereo, absolutely badass sound and bass, plenty of volume. I love them.
It get very loud with no distortion. It's absolutely loud enough for outdoor use. And it's great indoors as well. I don't know about how the size works, but they sound great and do the job better than it should. It only weight around 4 lbs or so. Highly recommend.
My Soundcore Boom 2 v2 and my pair of Tribit Stormbox Micro 2's. They cover all the bases I'll ever need. I also like my pair of Uboom L's.
I just purchased the Soundcore boom 2 for less than 80 pounds on Amazon and it sounds great. The reviews are very good as well, you can also link more than one.
Boom 2 is a safe option as in reasonable for the money without sounding amazing
i would take the boom 2, original motion boom, soundlink max, minirig 1.1 and almost anything over the x600. Even a pair of motion pluses would be a better bet with true soundstage. First off my units have the worst bass distortion i have heard when not being pushed making them unusable for me anyways. I cant handle the fake mono driver either. I would recommend getting a blast og or better still go play 3 if you are serious about sound. In the real world you cant claim audiophiles buy or like this speaker, come on. Audiophiles have real gear thats why they are called audiophiles. If i guess at what you mean and thats someone who likes, or thinks they like a neutral sound then they dont buy this either. This is a bass light bright speaker which as i always say is what some people mistake for neutral. Ive lost count of the times ive asked people to demonstrate how they come to the conclusion certain speakers are neutral and not justy bass light and bright. Again you make this claim based on "clarity, soundstage, and imaging". But this speaker is bright, thats very different from resolution or clarity as you are calling it. It has no real soundstage, what you hear is a cocktail of broken waves caused by the injecting of a mono mix over a stereo mix. I mean this is basic in audio, early order reflections, the x600 is literally breaking the first rule of clean sound at the listener position. What it does a little psychoacoustics when you are very on axis listening which is there to fool your ears and that you lose as soon as you stray from direct on axis. Imaging, well if it cant accurately soundstage (physics makes this impossible) it certainly wont be imaging correctly. I can assure you no mixer at the end of a long mixing session then says, opk lets see what happens if i fire a downmixed mono signal straight into its path.
Yes you have shilled this speaker that no actual audiophile buys before lol you are correct to point this out. no bt speaker is stereo wtf? That was priceless! Stereo is left right two channel audio reproduction. It is not defined by how well you perceive its 3d image. The fact you dont know this but use world audiophile is hysterical. You have been called out before for spamming this speaker, but old habits die hard clearly. You failed to grasp or was speed reading and thus could not absorb the fact i did not make an argument that it was bad because it wasn't stereo. I said it is wrong to say it is stereo because it adds a downmixed mono channel to its stereo output that actually ruins its stereo channels. There has never been a speaker that has so much disinformation put out about it. The fact it is also the most shilled speaker is no coincidence. bass on two units I have had have horrendous bass distortion. if you cant hear it or yours doesn't have it then you won the lottery. You state the x600 has an immersive soundstage. it doesnt. what it does is fire sound in three axis instead of two making the sound bigger yes but it is not a soundstage. Any fundamental understanding of mixing would allow you to know it would be impossible to expand an actual soundstage by mixing a mono mix into a stereo mix. I mean you understand that the soundstage is created with the panning at the mixing stage right? you can only break that soundstage by injecting mono into it, not expand it. This is not atmos despite what soundcore marketing would you have to believe. Atmos of course uses encoders to handle the remixing and can downmix or upmix while recreating the intended image. Soundcore does not use a proprietary encoder for surround, it simply uses a mono mix firing upwards. Thats it. nothing clever in that. It is not a virtual upmixer lets make this very very clear. Again, as i have said to you on the multiple occasions you have hijacked my conversation with someone else for reasons only you yourself can truly know, though the attention you give me is flattering so thanks for that, I have told you over and over again. You only have to like what you have, thats great, enjoy! What i cant let slip by is the misinformation and shilling this speaker receives. So thank you for once again giving me the opportunity to both highlight in the inaccuracies of this speaker and the shilling. Just for those who dont know, one of the promotions soundcore carried out at launch was to offer inducements for positive social media posts.

I’m no audiophile but I’m happy with mine. Eq plays a big part though and mine might not even be good to most people but I like it, idk I just messed around with it until it sounded how I liked, which ended up being very bass boosted, maybe too much for others… I’m the wrong person to ask about eq. But as a metalhead, I like it. It gets pretty loud for its size as well. I took it to the skate park a couple times and it’s real good at what it does. I’d also recommend getting two, I personally like having two on either corner of my room for a surround sound effect. I recorded a video, for what it’s worth, idk if it does it justice though… it was recorded off of Snapchat with the same phone that was playing the music and then whatever process it went through to be saved and uploaded… but as far as separation goes I don’t have a problem with it. https://imgur.com/a/DXKugyi Frozen Rainbow by Saxon
