I have that one and there is a huge latency with the pioneer rx2. Am I doing something wrong?

i love the wonderboom for its light compact just no nonsense design its my everyday carry. i have a tribit stormbox pro and a soundcore motion boom plus that just blows my old jbl charge 5 and the xtreme 3 out of the water. im sure the x sound plus 2 sounds better i just love the wonderboom form factor it works for me.

r/Bluetooth_Speakers • i thought the wonderboom 4 would be good upgrade to the wonderboom 2 but all it got was a usb port and a different tune. save your money and get the wonderboom 2 over the 3 and 4. ->

Just bought the Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus. Sounds great with the Move and no noticeable delay on the aux in. Not the most compact design but portable enough to move around the house and a lot of power if you want to play for a small group of people.

Can confirm, thanks! This is perfection for getting started out and doing small house party gigs. Plus it's awesome for portable general use for something more than the smaller speakers.

these are all worth their weight in gold: $150 on Amazon - TriBit Stormbox Blast $140 on Amazon ($70/ea) - 2x Soundcore Motion Boom $138 on Amazon ($69/ea) - 2x Anker Soundcore Motion+ $112 on Amazon ($56/ea) - 2x Soundcore Motion 300's $107 on Amazon - Soundcore Motion Boom Plus $100 on Amazon ($50/ea) - 2x Earfun UBOOM L i personally own the TriBit, the Soundcore Motion+, the Earfuns, and I also was able to score a Harman Kardon Onyx 7 for $130 which is right in your price range. I love all of these speakers a lot, but the Harman Kardon has the best bass for the kind of music that I listen to.

Nice review, thanks. Imo, the weight of a portable speaker is 2nd in importance only to it's sound quality. We are very active in the outdoors, so I haul my 2 boomboxes (motion boom plus) all around boats, camp spots, beaches, ski resorts, backyards... They are not only light enough to simply grab n go, but also much much less prone to breaking when dropped or falling vs something heavier.

Well it is a cheap plastic speaker that looks and feels like it was put together in a poor remote Chinese factory. While the sound quality isn't bad by any means, it's really not anything impressive, so sorry not everyone is blown away this speaker. I would take my HK Onyx Studio 7, Motion Boom Plus 2,Sony XG500, or even the Stormbox Blast over this any day. The highs and mids are flat and lifeless and while the bass is without a doubt impressive, it is boomy and muddled and overpowers the music on certain tracks. It is a decent speaker at low to mid volume depending on the type of music. If you want to get upset and insult my ears, feel free, but my opinion stands. This speaker will collect dust until I find someone to pawn it off on. Maybe they will enjoy it as much as you think everyone else should.

Interesting_Debate30 • 8 months ago

I liked indoor+ and outdoor tbe most. I also tried my own custom EQ to see if I could match it to my preferences, and could never get it there like I can with other speakers. Considering the Studio 7 is my favorite of the speakers I own, the fact you find it a joke is pretty ironic in itself. None of my other speakers reach the depth of sub bass that speakers does and it is not overpowering. I will concede the Boom x matches second place for sub bass with the XG500 i own, but it gets overpowering and muddy sounding with certain songs. The Boom 2 plus has the least sub bass and can get distorted at high volumes, but I use it for my shower and it works a treat in there. Everyone has different ears and preferences to sound. The Boom X still beats out a lot of speakers I've tried, but overall its just meh to my ears and it still looks and feels like one of the cheapest around.

Anker SoundCore Motion Boom Plus, it's very cheap and better than JBL Xtreme by experience, very loud, pretty light, but have a rather big size, there is a strap to carry it easily though.

I think everything Anker does is top tier and by a large margin the best cost/effective ratio. It's also absolutely unbreakable, I have it since 3 years, done ton of afters, street parties, beach parties, etc, with it. Saltwater, beers, dust, sand, falling on the ground, etc, nothing broke or deteriorated it the slightest, and I am a pro for breaking anything technological.

I had four Motion Booms, A motion Boom Plus and a Tribit Blast. The blast was best for deep bass. Gave away the heavy Blast to make room for the lighter Earfun UboomX which is $109 at amazon and supposed to match the output of the Blast & Blast2.

r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Where is the LOUD portable bluetooth speaker to dance in public? ->

mrdoom • 5 months ago

I am not ever going to put a 25lb Partybox 120 in a backpack! Hauling around a 12 lb Tribit Blast was bad enough. The 35lb Soundbox is lightweight for a battery powered PA speaker but only needed for really noisy outdoor events & big parties . Overkill for most IMO. The 5lb Motion Boom Plus had a good power to weigh ratio. (Half the weight of a Earfun UboomX).

I had Boom 2 and Motion Boom Plus. In my opinion Motion Boom Plus could be better. Boom 2 has a warm sound but not very clear due to is poor stereo separation. In my ears the sound was "boxed". Anyway it was a very good speaker for most of uses. Motion Boom+ maybe has more thinner sound but good stereo separation and more clarity and definition in every single sound impulse. Each instrument is clearly distinguishable, furthermore the bass are more punchy. I loved Boom 2 for vocal music and MB+ for instrumental music.

As much as I love the Go+Play 3 it’s not a great choice for outdoor use UBOOM X works well for outdoors and indoors Soundcore Motion Boom Plus doesn’t sound as good as the UBOOM X but it’s emphasis on mid and upper bass and forward mids makes it a solid choice for outdoors IMO

I haven’t listened to the two speakers that you mentioned. But IMO the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus makes for a decent outdoor speaker if that’s all that you’re going to use it for. The mids and vocals are forward and the bass is concentrated in the mid bass frequencies. It’s not a high quality sound but it works well outdoors. IP67, very lightweight and gets fairly loud but maybe not enough for your use If you want something with better sound quality for indoor use as well then the UBOOM X is a solid choice. But again not sure if it will be loud enough for you

https://forum.loopypro.com/discussion/49223/i-did-a-latency-test-again-of-portable-speakers-and-was-instantly-depressed Every source I can find shows them to not have latency. I recommended these to a friend and I'll be able to tell you in a week or two in practice 😅 but you can probably just test it yourself and send it back within 14 days if you don't like it? There's also an app that lets you control eq settings.

Anker Soundcore Motion Boom plus, quite a lot cheaper than a minirig and punches above its weight, sounds better to me than a more expensive JBL Partybox.

Small budget and small footprint (110-200 bucks) my favorite is the Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus. Larger budget and larger footprint (500 bucks +) I second the Elektrovoice Everse 8. I'm not a big fan of the JBL partyboxes, pretty large for the not-so-impressive sound.

Yeah a friend of mine has one, it's honestly stupid good for the money. It competes with 200-300 bucks speakers but he got his for 100. No latency. Highly recommended for any DJ, beginner or not. Got to get An RCA 2x male to 3,5 mm jack cable to connect it.

Honestly way below your budget (100-160 euros depending on deals etc) but I like the Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus. Delay is low enough to not be an issue (in my experience). Very durable and portable, good sound. You can have a 20 person party around one of these. For your budget you can get 2 for stereo, bump up the bass in the EQ which you can do with the app. Very hard to get something more impressive for that money. In the larger segment I like the Elektrovoice Everse 8 and the HK Audio Move 8.

Hello, the Soundcore Motion is a great value option with excellent sound quality and aptX support, ideal for music production. The X600 and Boom Plus are also solid choices for immersive sound. Higher wattage (W) means louder volume, while higher kHz improves sound detail, but balance matters for overall quality
