I spent ages researching this exact topic for this use case - bought anker Soundcore motion boom plus. Sorted. Zero latency. It’s bigger - but still portable.
DJs • Looking for small portable speaker with no aux... ->This, half the price of comparable popular brands but the same quality
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker for arou... ->There are many options from small to large ones, but the most sound you can get for this price would be the soundcore motion boom plus.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker for arou... ->Soundcore Motion Boom Plus. It sounds great and can do just about everything, except fit in my carry-on on a flight. My other speakers are just for specific use-cases that it doesn't serve as well.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Those of us with multiple Bluet... ->For hip hop, I’d spend a bit more to get the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus. It’s smaller and lighter than it looks, but it can still deliver a nice low end if the track calls for it. It’s not a a typical muddy sounding boombox. Jazz recordings will sound great from it too. Very good clarity.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker out of t... ->I've had mine for years and it's still my go-to speaker for anything around the house. It is a fantastic speaker for the price
Elektron • Budget speakers recommendations for Digit... ->yes, these are the best portables
DJs • Portable DJs, what other speakers are similar... ->Anker SoundCore Motion Boom Plus, it's very cheap and better than JBL Xtreme by experience, very loud, pretty light, but have a rather big size, there is a strap to carry it easily though.
Elektron • Budget speakers recommendations for Digit... ->I think everything Anker does is top tier and by a large margin the best cost/effective ratio. It's also absolutely unbreakable, I have it since 3 years, done ton of afters, street parties, beach parties, etc, with it. Saltwater, beers, dust, sand, falling on the ground, etc, nothing broke or deteriorated it the slightest, and I am a pro for breaking anything technological.
Elektron • Budget speakers recommendations for Digit... ->I have the same one & love it the shoulder strap is also quite nice, so you can easily take it to the festival site even when your hands are full
hardstyle • Portable speaker for Hardstyle? ->these are all worth their weight in gold: $150 on Amazon - TriBit Stormbox Blast $140 on Amazon ($70/ea) - 2x Soundcore Motion Boom $138 on Amazon ($69/ea) - 2x Anker Soundcore Motion+ $112 on Amazon ($56/ea) - 2x Soundcore Motion 300's $107 on Amazon - Soundcore Motion Boom Plus $100 on Amazon ($50/ea) - 2x Earfun UBOOM L i personally own the TriBit, the Soundcore Motion+, the Earfuns, and I also was able to score a Harman Kardon Onyx 7 for $130 which is right in your price range. I love all of these speakers a lot, but the Harman Kardon has the best bass for the kind of music that I listen to.
WirelessSpeakers • Looking for the best speaker at t... ->Yeah motion boom plus works. I have both for small beach events
Beatmatch • Best quality/small AUX portable speaker ... ->It will have latency with Bluetooth
Beatmatch • Best quality/small AUX portable speaker ... ->I use an RCA to 3.5 or XLR to 3.5 when I want something small and battery powered
Beatmatch • Best quality/small AUX portable speaker ... ->Anker Soundcore motion boom plus and motion plus. Both can work without latency
DJs • Portable DJs, what other speakers are similar... ->He asked for an alternative and I gave one that's pretty good and loud what you mean?
DJs • Portable DJs, what other speakers are similar... ->Just bought the Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus. Sounds great with the Move and no noticeable delay on the aux in. Not the most compact design but portable enough to move around the house and a lot of power if you want to play for a small group of people.
ableton • Ableton Move external speaker ->Two Soundcore Motion Boom + in stereo mode.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best bluetooth speaker under 300$ ->I’ve got a pair of them. Great sound.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker out of t... ->Same with Soundcore. Just applying EQ took my Motion Boom and Motion Boom Plusses to another level. I wonder why factory EQ is so mediocre?
Bluetooth_Speakers • The truth about the Earfun UBoo... ->JBL Xtreme 4 is solid for bass, but if you want deeper lows, consider the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus or Sony XB43. Both hit hard under $300!
Bluetooth_Speakers • I'm looking for a bass speaker ... ->Soundcore motion boom plus or Tribit Stormbox blast. Both of them are great in overall sound. The Soundcore has better built quality, is lighter. The Tribit has deeper bass, is heavier and i don't like the Highs very much. If u find the Soundcore on sale u can buy Two of them for 240€, to use them in Stereo and double the power. The Tribit, the price i see most low was 180€. One Soundcore was 120€.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for party speaker under... ->I recently bought both of these to compare and see what I liked more side by side. I ended up deciding on the Tribit. The soundcore did have more clear highs but the Tribit just sounded much more rounded/balanced without any EQ adjusting. I adjusted soundcore and it got better but I still preferred the Tribit. Deeper bass too. A random factor when doing a side by side test was my gf and sister were in the room and both aren’t into audio at all and both said the Tribit sounded much better to them.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Looking for party speaker under... ->Look, Soundcore Motionboom plus it’s portable enough to carry with the strap, it has close to 0 delay when DJing and it’s loud as heck and it’s not too expensive either
DenonPrime • Speaker for beach/small party Dj Prime Go ->Well it is a cheap plastic speaker that looks and feels like it was put together in a poor remote Chinese factory. While the sound quality isn't bad by any means, it's really not anything impressive, so sorry not everyone is blown away this speaker. I would take my HK Onyx Studio 7, Motion Boom Plus 2,Sony XG500, or even the Stormbox Blast over this any day. The highs and mids are flat and lifeless and while the bass is without a doubt impressive, it is boomy and muddled and overpowers the music on certain tracks. It is a decent speaker at low to mid volume depending on the type of music. If you want to get upset and insult my ears, feel free, but my opinion stands. This speaker will collect dust until I find someone to pawn it off on. Maybe they will enjoy it as much as you think everyone else should.
Bluetooth_Speakers • The truth about the Earfun UBoo... ->I liked indoor+ and outdoor tbe most. I also tried my own custom EQ to see if I could match it to my preferences, and could never get it there like I can with other speakers. Considering the Studio 7 is my favorite of the speakers I own, the fact you find it a joke is pretty ironic in itself. None of my other speakers reach the depth of sub bass that speakers does and it is not overpowering. I will concede the Boom x matches second place for sub bass with the XG500 i own, but it gets overpowering and muddy sounding with certain songs. The Boom 2 plus has the least sub bass and can get distorted at high volumes, but I use it for my shower and it works a treat in there. Everyone has different ears and preferences to sound. The Boom X still beats out a lot of speakers I've tried, but overall its just meh to my ears and it still looks and feels like one of the cheapest around.
Bluetooth_Speakers • The truth about the Earfun UBoo... ->I don't know if you have a specific size in mind but if you don't mind a boom box sized speaker I have a good recommendation. I bought the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus at the start of the year and it is honestly unmatched for the price. The bass on it is insane and is probably the closest I've gotten to capturing the feel of live music without spending a fortune on a good sound system. They just released a v2 of the speaker which is supposed to be even better although I have not seen one in person to test that for myself. In comparison to the popular JBL Extreme series speakers which many of my friends have, the soundcore is cheaper and has much better bass and clarity.
hardstyle • Portable speaker for Hardstyle? ->I went with the soundcore boom+ gets here Friday I’ll let yall know how it does!
Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker for boat ->Soundcore boom+! Its awesome! Definitely loud enough to hear while wide open on the water
Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker for boat ->Soundcore Motion Boom +, no latency. If you have a larger budget maybe an Electrovoice Everse 8?
DJs • Low latency, battery powered, compact yet powe... ->https://forum.loopypro.com/discussion/49223/i-did-a-latency-test-again-of-portable-speakers-and-was-instantly-depressed Every source I can find shows them to not have latency. I recommended these to a friend and I'll be able to tell you in a week or two in practice 😅 but you can probably just test it yourself and send it back within 14 days if you don't like it? There's also an app that lets you control eq settings.
DJs • Low latency, battery powered, compact yet powe... ->the most recent speaker released the Boom 2 or the older Motion Boom Plus. I own both so speaking on experience, the Motion Boom Plus is good for a balance of Bass and clarity while the Boom 2 is all bass. Both get loud so no problem to run a party. Also Boom 2 is smaller and more portable than Motion Boom Plus but Motion Boom Plus also has a carrying strap if that matters. Motion Boom Plus also has aux jack while Boom 2 is just bluetooth. I usually set them to Soundcore Signature EQ with bass up. You can do your research on the 2 models but simply both be good for bass and really its the size of the speaker that you would pick.
anker • best soundcore speakers for bass? ->https://preview.redd.it/diwmvd461z1d1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=13cb0f154e1c808ffb2fa6badf01f50ed722c99a This is just to see the size of the 2 soundcore speakers I own. Again left is Motion Boom Plus which is bass and clarity and right is Boom 2 which is less on clarity and more on just bass. I don’t know much on Motion Plus but seen decent reviews and of course is even smaller so won’t get as loud but the reviews say decent sound and it has bass up feature. I’d go watch a few reviews just to hear it for yourself.
anker • best soundcore speakers for bass? ->MiniRig 4 2.1 or 2.2 You will be blown away, however if price is a factor, two Motion Booms is an absolute steal for the sound they put out.. As @AlanRoss would say.. pound for pound champs.. That's what she said... 🤣
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth Portable Speaker ->MiniRig 4 2.1 or 2.2 You will be blown away, however if price is a factor, two Motion Booms is an absolute steal for the sound they put out.. As @AlanRoss would say.. pound for pound champs.. That's what she said... 🤣
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth Portable Speaker ->Motion Boom Plus - has been good. No noticeable delay and decent sound for the price/size
DJs • Looking for small portable speaker with no aux... ->I have that one and there is a huge latency with the pioneer rx2. Am I doing something wrong?
DJs • Looking for small portable speaker with no aux... ->Maybe check out the Motion Boom. When properly EQed ,it’s loud and great sounding
Bluetooth_Speakers • Portable bluetooth speaker for car ->I just recently returned a soundcore boom 2 and a motion boom plus. They were too big for my application. I notice you have the Stormbox, which is giggly rated for loudness. How does the Soundlink max compare in loudness? It's about the right size for me, and have been muling over the price tag.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Most comprehensive review of th... ->Save some money and get 2 motion boom pluses for that stereo sound
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth Portable Speaker ->The Motion Boom and the Mifa Wildbox are around the same size, and the Mifa Wildbox does sound better (with the latest firmware). However, the plastic the Wildbox is made of seems to be brittle and I'd probably not recommend it much for backpack use. The Boom 2 gives the impression of more low frequency bass, but its PRs are tuned to 60 Hz, so you're not going to get any real bass below that (for comparison purposes, I think that the Wildbox's PRs are turned at or just above 50 Hz). The higher tuning of the Boom 2's PRs and its use of one larger driver for bass do suggest that overall it will get louder than the Wildbox. So my suggestion would be to go with a Motion Boom or the Boom 2.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best backpack sized speaker ->How budget is budget? I just picked up a tribute xsound go from aliexpress's choice day sale for $17AU and it's quite balanced for a speaker of that price and gets plenty loud, also has up to 24 hour battery life. 2x 40mm driver with a passive radiator so it does lack bass. It's quite small, portable and waterproof though so it serves its purpose. Next tier up would be a big jump but would include a lot more bass, like the sound core motion range.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Best speaker for pure sound qua... ->Hello, the Soundcore Motion is a great value option with excellent sound quality and aptX support, ideal for music production. The X600 and Boom Plus are also solid choices for immersive sound. Higher wattage (W) means louder volume, while higher kHz improves sound detail, but balance matters for overall quality
WirelessSpeakers • Best soundcore speaker? ->how loud are we talking because you mention the tiny bose micro which aint loud at all. for weight and loudness the motion boom plus can do a job.
Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth speaker for boat ->And check out the variants of that, which will have the same. The boom plus the Boom 2 the boom 2 plus, all of their different price size sound quality volume variances, all pretty damn good and depend upon what matters to you the most
Bluetooth_Speakers • Bluetooth Speaker for Sleep ->If you use the aux in then there should be no latency. Anker Soundcore Motion is quite good.
