I think I did try both of those. To me the bass was way too boosted, but I certainly didn't try them in stereo

Bose is just a V shaped Sound profile. So bass and highs with the mids being recessed. Regardless, what you want is the Tribit Lava or Soundcore Boom 2. Same size roughly as the Bose. They have good EQ’s in their apps so you can customize the sound so they can sound just as good as the Bose. Either is good. I own the Boom 2 and I like it a lot. $130 usd is regular price but is almost always on sale for less than $120 on Amazon. Same with the Lava. I haven’t heard the Lava personally, but some say it has even deeper bass than the Boom 2. But both can be had for even less than $100 usd on Amazon if you look long enough.

Sounds like u need a Tribit Lava or a SoundCore Boom 2 or Boom 2 plus. Boom 2 plus is bigger than the other 2 but also more expensive ( less than 200 on amaz0n right now) but also more powerful. All 3 have plenty bass. If u wanna stay on JBL it’s probably the charge 6 at that price range. While I love my charge 6, the 3 I mentioned earlier are bigger, better, and much more bass. Oh and cheaper.

Soundcore Boom 2 or Boom 2 plus. Tribit Lava or Stormbox Blast 1. JBL Charge 6 punches pretty good for its size. Won’t beat any of the ones I previously mentioned ( I mean they’re bigger, you can’t cheat physics ) but it’s a great portable option ( my favorite speaker to be honest, although the new Xtreme 5 might take that title soon )

I don't have 2 or 3. I've tried Extreme 2,3. Soundcore Motion boom plus. UE Hyperboom and Megaboom. Boombox 3. XB43, Kilburn III I just knew from the get go the Ult 5 was the one for me. It sounds better at lower volume than high for some reason. I can hear all the details better. Sometimes you just click with a sound signature.

soundcore motion boom plus if you can afford an extra 30 bucks

i havent had that one before but from the 2 big ones i have i like the skull candy better from the bass alone. they are both equally as loud but the soundcores bass isnt as deep but still good and its treble is smoother it also has an eq. if you value deep bass skull candy is the winner if you value smoother treble and having an eq then soundcore is the winner

skull candy barrel xt, this one i got for $67 new. its the loudest and has the deepest bass of all that i have. its a jbl boombox competitor. you can find these on market place or walmart cheap.

Both my MotionBoom+ and Flip 5 have fallen into my hottub repeatedly with no ill effects.

Soundcore Motion X600 is my favorite soundcore / Bluetooth speaker to date. Not gonna win any SPL or bass awards but it's a damn good sounding speaker. You mentioned it was for inside which is why I recommended it. It's even good outside, we took it to the BBQ on memorial day and it still did well. For a PARTY party, go with a something larger and more powerful. If it's for you to enjoy a variety of music, go w the x600. I have a motion boom, motion boom plus, rave neo, and rave party (my girlfriend is right, I have a problem). All of those speakers are better on paper w better bass, but NONE of them sound as good. I'm gonna turn on the best sounding speaker 9/10 times. The only time I'd choose something else is if I needed the extra output, which I rarely ever do to be honest. X600 is the most underrated Soundcore speaker and I'll die on that hill 😂🤙
