I have one too, and can confirm the call quality is excellent. This is not a party speaker, but the audio quality for music is fantastic for such a small speaker. I have the Tribit Stormbox 2 and prefer the look and the sound of the Sony at low volumes. The Tribit blows it away if you need higher volume however.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best Bluetooth speaker for treble, bass and with a great mic for calls ->Sony’s last wave of portable speakers were not great so I think a lot of people didn’t bother trying the new ones. For context, I prefer not having to mess with EQ to find the best sound, but I will do it to see if there’s any improvement over the default or the included extra bass mode (xbass, ult, etc). Speakers used to need to be EQ’d but the newest ones sound great without needing to mess around (for my ears). For portable, the sony ult field 1 is my sweet spot for sound quality and size. I used to carry around the bose soundlink flex, but it lays flat or on the side while this one can stand straight up, taking much less space. The passive radiators give it a ton of bass and I honestly prefer the sound over the flex. The tribit micro is “smaller” but takes up more space when using. The tribit stormbox 2 is a good budget option. Boom 4 was not worth the price. For home, the partyboxs are great but so big, also too big are the boombox, blast, motion boom plus, etc. The bose soundlink max is big but still pretty small in comparison and it sounds massive. Really easy to take room to room. The speakers that I am looking at that might replace it are the brane x, or the sony ht-ax7 for portable surround. Will be checking out the tribit lava soon.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • I analyzed Reddit for the 25 most recommended portable bluetooth speakers in the past year (Mar 2025) ->I own the Earfun and the Tribit. The Earfun is the easy winner. Punches way above it's class and budget
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Need help picking a Bluetooth speaker around ₹6000 to ₹7000 in India ->I was not sure the size you needed, but I have had a chance to try the Tribit Stormbox 2 or Soundcore Glow or Motion 300. 👍
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best bang for your buck portable Bluetooth speaker? [$300 max but I’d rather go cheaper] ->Tribit Stormbox 2 or Tribit Blast have great reviews in wired mag. Blast 159 and Stormbox 2 at 80.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest portable speakers under $150 ->It depends what size you want. The Bose is very good if you want a small speaker. The Tribit Stormbox 2 is a very good smaller speaker that competes with the JBL Flip 6. It has a very good review by Wired .
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Which one is best out of these never used a good bluetooth speaker before want to try. For both indoor and outdoor use but mainly indoors ->The Tribit Stormbox 2 is good you like the cylinder style.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best speakers around the size of the JBL Flip? ->All I know is that I can have my Stormbox 2 blasting for 12 hours over the loudness of a double forklift.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best bang for your buck portable Bluetooth speaker? [$300 max but I’d rather go cheaper] ->I have the stormbox 2 and play it in a loud facility while wearing earplugs and driving a double forklift. Full blast gets me 7 hours and 75% will last me my whole 12 hour shift.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Loudest portable speakers under $150 ->Motion 100 is not comparable to the UBoomL . I have both and the Motion is great but it's a much smaller less powerful speaker so unless you want it for portability I would get the UboomL or the two Tribit speakers which are also very good .
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Please please please help me choose one of these speakers ->Because both Tribit and soundcore were not as good as the uboom L, if you want my opinion of it, it’s good. Same level as the soundcore, not as good as the Uboom L *Btw, also no mention of soundcore after I mentioned it at the beginning
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Finally found my speaker! ->You could try Tribit stormbox 2 if that’s available where you are. You could easily get two of these in the budget you’ve mentioned and tribit speakers have solid built quality with a plethora of options in the app to equalise and overall granular control.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Alternatives to soundcore boom 3i ->A lag free Aux like the Motion+ is the best you'll do or similar devices (some boomboxes like Tribit or Earful). Some Aux ports carry lots of lag so you need to look at test specs. Alan Ross at the end of his vids show the Aux lags. VERY useful info.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Recommendations for ~$50-100 BT speaker that also has 3.5mm output? (For workplace use) ->?? Tribit has the best battery of all the boombox out there.
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best boombox speaker ->Probably because of the lights. It gets really bright. You can turn it off anytime. This thing lasts a full work shift at 50% vol and will have 60% battery left in my experience
r/Bluetooth_Speakers • Best boombox speaker ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
