Don't know which Soundcore speaker you got, but if it's not the Motion 300, you can get that. Other ones could be the Tribit Stormbox Flow, (Tribit Stormbox Micro 2, and Bose Soundlink Flex. I'd personally recommend the Stormbox Micro 2, though. Heard that once and I fell in love with the sound.

I bought Flow and Xsound Plus 2 instead since both of them price the same as this. TWS between the 2 are also meh, but playing on them simultaneously are surprisingly good. Though I hate the dripping sound when the bass hit.

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersLooking for the best budget speaker for clear vocals + good bass

Bought a Stormbox Flow last week and my impressions thus far are positive. I'm keeping this speaker. My use case: listening at low to moderate volumes, basically speaking levels, to podcasts, game broadcasts, music, and movies/TV programs streamed to my laptop. The Flow's a jack-of-all-trades, fits-easily-in-a-backpack sized speaker for modest listening needs. Any speaker of the Flow's size is not meant for critical listening, it's a casual audio accessory. The Flow's single 2" driver (albeit with two passive radiators), sacrifices significant range and fidelity, no matter how well it's tuned or EQ'ed. But it does deliver surprising bass, enough that I don't bother with the XBass preset. There are three presets you can cycle through via a dedicated button: XBass; voice; and the default setting, which is where it typically stays. There's also recourse to custom EQ settings via the Tribit smartphone app. I find the Flow handles spoken word very well, its emphasis on bass and lower mids imparting a warm tone, where other small speakers tend to sound brittle and hollow. For music, the Flow's shortcoming is a lack of clear upper mids and sparkling trebles, which can make for flat, muddy listening compared to other speakers with multiple drivers and small tweeters. It's more at home at lower volumes; when approaching max decibels, which is shouting level, there's some distortion, and it sounds harsher. The Flow is designed to sit on either its bottom or back, quite a handy feature that makes laying it any- and everywhere more convenient. BT connectivity is quick; I've no second Tribit, so haven't tried TWS and Party modes. Battery life is indeed stellar. I deliberately avoided stereo speakers (like Anker Motion+) because the separation on mini speakers is so reduced that unless one's nose is pressed against the speaker grill, the stereo effect is lost, especially when going about your business with the audio source removed or around corners. There's no point to a feature with no practical relevance. Lastly, I didn't even consider the Motion+ because, here in Canada (@ Amazon), it's listed at $110, twice the cost of the Flow. For that price, I'd consider the Motion+'s competition budget-brand, small boomboxes, rather than the Flow.

I think the key here is to opt for a non-boombox type speaker that also has an accompanying app, allowing the user to EQ the speaker to preference. $200 should be more than enough for the purpose. For podcasts, I resort to a[ Tribit Flow](https://tribit.com/products/tribit-stormbox-flow-portable-speaker). It has an "Audiobook" preset that's really an EQ profile with deep bass and high trebles scaled back. The app also features a nine band EQ for further fine-tuning.

You haven't specified wattage, size or use case so I'm going to recommend a budget bass heavy speaker that I actually own: Tribit Stormbox Flow. It's 25 watts, mono, and, by all accounts--which I can confirm--very bassy. To the extent of having blurry mids and underwhelming highs. As far as being "moddable", the app includes an EQ.

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersAnyone else tired of ultra cheap Bluetooth speakers dying in months?

You're making a distinction between *ultra* cheap and just, well, cheap. Speaking as someone who's quite pleased with his Tribit Stormbox Flow, which cost me a 1/3 of its premium analog, the Bose Soundlink Flex. I'm not sure where the sweet spot in the value/price spectrum is--we all decide that differently--but I don't think it's ever been at the ultra-cheap end.

Bose. I feel people who advocate Bose really have no idea what good audio is. You want Bose like sound. Go for the Tritbit Stormbox Flow. I think it’s some 8k. Very balanced speaker. I have 3 speakers from the same brand. And very very impressive.

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersBest Bluetooth Speaker to Buy in 2026? (Price, Sound, Battery life)

Out of the 4 portable speakers I have, I end up using the Soundlink Flex (2nd gen) the most. Just has the best sound and bass I like for the music I listen to. I keep trying to find something to beat it, but haven’t. If that is too pricey, then try the clone … the Tribit Stormbox Flow. Tribit has been my 2nd favorite company for Bluetooth speakers. I think they just reverse engineer popular selling speakers that sound good.

If you're looking for a similar sound signature & form factor, the **Tribit Stormbox Flow** comes surprisingly close (check out Alan ross's review on YT) at a fraction of the price-- currently C$43 on amazon ca. For less than the price of one Flex2, you can get 2 and pair in stereo which will be a huge upgrade over a single speaker. The **JBL CHARGE6** is also within your budget, and (having used both), the JBL gets significantly louder but also sounds sharper/"clearer" & is very well-reviewed. It also has a few nice-to-haves, like universal auracast pairing, fast charging, and a handle/strap. I personally don't like the JBL FLIP7 due to it's overly sharp sound and would opt for the Bose over the FLIP7, but I'd go with the CHARGE6 over the Bose. If you're OK with a **(much) larger size, the Earfun Uboom X** (using Oluv's free EQ's in the Eafun app) is very well-reviewed here and will provide some of the best sound quality in the price range (currently \~C$150 on amazon ca) at the cost of build quality and feel. In a similar vein, the Soundcore Boom 2 is highly reccomended for it's bass-heavy sound and provides excellent value. Both these options are within your budget, but very large in size-- consider a smaller speaker like the Soundcore Select 4 Go or JBL GO4 to go along. Keep in mind that portable speakers tend to go on sale often-- the BOSE Flex 2 was on sale for C$130, JBL CHARGE6 for C$155-180, Boom 2 for C$130, and the HK Luna for C$170 (although a HK Luna 2 is in the works based on FCC filings). All of the above options are waterproof. If you're in the GTA feel free to reply & I'd be happy to look for specific deals or point you to some retail stores that may offer in store pickup bonuses or better deals.

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersIs there a speaker that can act as a USB sound device while providing power?

Tribit iirc Storm (smaller square one, good speakers on sale) does this but for some reason, and nothing states this anywhere, will only charge something when the speaker is over 50%

r/Bluetooth_SpeakersNot sure if Zealot is even good, the reviews (if real) are pretty good. Does anyone know why there’s separate listing for the S98 model?

just received my s89 today, it's straight ass. I prefer the sound quality of my Tribit Stormbox so much more than this. the bass is sloppy so it's all high treble and muddy bass, but you don't even feel the bass it's just flop of the passives. anyone who swings this so hard is obviously a paid shill for the company.

I’d second the Tribit Stormbox also; I feel like it has so much power behind it and you can crank it pretty loud before it’s sound quality begins to suffer.
