"Ordered it from aliexpress using the earlybird code, making it a 120 dollar purchase. I had second thoughts about getting it after ordering it, but after a few days with it, i definitely think it was worth it. ... But it does have some cheapness to it when it comes to design and sound quality, but it delivers way more than it's price for sure!! ... My conclusion is mostly positive, this speakers earned it's place next to the boom 2, xtreme 4 and bose soundlink max, having advantages and disadvantages over them. ... Thanks mate, tribit definitely stands out especially in terms of value ... Yea i think it's definitely worth it"
"Run them in TWS, tweak the eq a bit with the app and you'll be astonished at what $200 can get you in terms of portable sound."

"Sound is extremely muddy out of the box, but EQ settings in app can make it rival speakers that are twice as expensive. ... Having to mess with EQ just for acceptable quality. ... Just get annoyed trying to find the perfect EQ"
"So much bass, overpowering bass at low volumes making it muffled."
"Is that even when you're going 0 on bass, there's still deep bass somehow, and still enough to be too much"

"The speaker has a power-saving mode when the battery is below 40%. Volume and bass levels seem to change at 40%."

"I noticed that the speaker starts to generate noise at very low volumes. At volumes between 5 and 20%, or when transitioning from a louder to a quieter section, a constant background noise can be heard. Example: Song: Pink Floyd - Echoes"
I got a Tribit Stormbox Lava for cheap because initially people didn't like the bass on it. They have since updated the firmware and it sounds amazing.
I have the tribit one, its bang for buck speakers. First got the GO and then the Plus 2 and now even got the lava.
From best to worst 1. Soundcore motion + 2. Klipsch nashville 3. Sony ult field 5 & tribit stormbox lava (tie) 4. Marshall emberton 3 & Bose soundlink flex 2 (tie) 5. Kef muo 6.tribit stormbox blast (OG) & Earfun uboom x(tie) 7. Soundcore boom 2 & x600 8. Harman kardon onyx studio 6 9. UE everboom, wonder boom & epicboom Soundcore motion + has been discontinued and has no ip dust rating Klipsch nashville, kef muo, bose soundlink flex 2, and harman kardon onyx studio 6 are mono format speakers Sony ult field 5, tribit stormbox lava & blast, earfun u boom x, Soundcore boom 2 & x600, UE epicboom and HK onyx studio 6 are all pretty large. The Marshall emberton 3, UE everboom & epic boom are 360⁰ speakers this is subjectively worse than a forward firing speaker for soundquality.
Tribit stormbox Lava, hi-fi sound in budget
Danke Man! Das war genau das, was ich hören musste. Ich suche schon so lang nach etwas um draußen gut Techno zu hören. Da sind die Tiefbässe sehr wichtig. Habe jetzt gerade 2 für Lava's für zusammen 200€ geholt. Go Tribit
Tribit Xsound Plus 2. I have the Tribit Maxsound Plus since 2023 and it's still rocking good but won't recommend u to go for Maxsound Plus cos it's an old model and the new updated model is Xsound Plus 2. I have Tribit Stormbox Lava too. Tribit is really nice. Chota packet bada dhamaka.
But the tribit lava and boom 2destroys the bose in terms of loudness, sound quality and bass depth...
I got a Lava from them and I like it. For the price, it's very good. Sound is extremely muddy out of the box, but EQ settings in app can make it rival speakers that are twice as expensive. The bass is incredibly strong. My only 2 complaints are A: Having to mess with EQ just for acceptable quality. B: you need 2 of them for a "complete" sound. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. Just get annoyed trying to find the perfect EQ
Under 9k best buy is Tribit stormbox lava, under 5k it’s Tribit x sound plus 2
I have done the comparison. It’s very different.
For the beach, the Tribit Stormbox Lava is perfect it's fully waterproof, has great bass, and the 360-degree sound is ideal for a group sitting around it
