Tribit speakers have had an issue with dying and refusing to take a charge after 18-24 months, something to do with the internal wiring. Great speaker, shame about the longevity.
Micro(2), Blast(2) and Lava are great. XSound Plus (2) and Stormbox(2) alright, but there are better speakers in that size imo. Stormbox Mini(2) just blows.

These are both good. The Stormbox is their main medium sized personal speaker, and the mini gives you similar sound in a smaller speaker, but they are all good speakers. I have the Ue Wonderboom that is similar to mini in size. Still gives you plenty of sound.
Ya no worries. I love my Tribit Stormbox mini too - really cool little speaker, great for throwing in a backpack or bag. The Xiaomi is a little bigger but has a punchier bass. Same with the other Tribit options I mentioned above. All very similar, so depends on your budget and if you can find a sale. And unless you want something bigger and less portable. I got mine on Prime Day here in Canada.

Tribit makes some nice speakers for the price. Stormbox, Xsound, or Stormbox micro if you want a smaller size. All under $100.
I just ordered a Xiaomi 30w out of curiosity, which was about $60 CAD
Tribit makes good speakers, I have the xsound 2 before that I had strombox mini. So if portability is a priority go for these. If you want great music need to up the budget. If you want bass and are willing to sacrifice portability look for a 2.1 setup.
