I’d go with the JBL Charge 5\*\*,\*\* great sound and waterproof super reliable for beach/picnic use. If you're open to less-hyped brands, the Tribit StormBox Pro seriously surprised me. Way cheaper and still hits hard with bass + 24hr battery. Honestly underrated.
Bro look into a company on Amazon called “tribit” genuinely so amazing. Their quality is ridiculous for the price. Easily the best bang for you buck speakers around. I bought my Stormbox pro over 3 years ago and use it at full blast nearly everyday in the corner of my warehouse for work. It’s lasted through an entire deployment where both day and night shift would use it 24 hours straight for 6 months 0 down time while plugged in and still sounds great. Easily best $100 investment I’ve made for a speaker.
I have Tribit speakers that dont quit. The most expensive one is in your budget. I have been a customer since 2020. Started with max sound go. The took the stormbox pro. Now I have the stormbox blast 1. The first one had the rubber button harden and break after i gave it to my sister. But i think that was 3 years after purchase and i dont know what lead upto it. I have the pro since 2022 and the speaker seems as good as new. The blast I have since oct 24 and still seems fine. The latest blast 2 is 26k and 200W. The sound is amazing. Check other reviews before you commit.
I’d second the Tribit Stormbox also; I feel like it has so much power behind it and you can crank it pretty loud before it’s sound quality begins to suffer.
