"personally I don't like this speaker because i have tried others and this speaker just can't compete with them in terms of loudness and bass and this matters more to me than clarity. ... Loudness and bass is far better in harmony mini and its just slightly behind in terms of clarity from xsound go. ... Once u listen to harmony mini u cannot listen to xsound go."
"it's not very loud."

I have the tribit one, its bang for buck speakers. First got the GO and then the Plus 2 and now even got the lava.
The plus 2 has better volume obviously, but I kind of feel like GO is more crisp.
Tribit Xsound Go is sufficient and practical choice. If you want to use for Netflix you need better battery life. It has good quality sound and very good battery life and economical.
yes i have been using for last three months. I just love it . It’s quality of sound and battery backup is excellent.
I have tribit xsound go and xsound plus, they can do stereo mode and setting them in my combing boxes was nice. but I installed a real stereo system because I do movie night raft ups and Bluetooth isn't good enough. https://preview.redd.it/z73724lch21g1.jpeg?width=2560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=96657aa217a36c2420f25a631c63decc44045233
Tribit on Amazon, best in the budget
Well it does go down around 2500ish but that's very rare, I myself am waiting for it to go down to gift someone but couldn't get it for any lesser than this from past 7-8 months
3 + yrs using tribit x sound go zero issues dropped in sand water and what not never gave any issue excellent battery life even today, if you can extend the budget go for plus one having 30W and always choose tribit as seller from amazon that will give you valid warranty. Cheers
Tribit Xsound Go for 2.8k. Trust me. This is way better than some of the soundbars as well. Compact and can be taken to trips as well. Else, go for Marshall speakers.
I have Tribit Xsound Go. And I can vouch for the sound quality. Not sure about this one. But I guess the brand knows what its doing. So those should be good as well. Check the reviews.
I have the Tribit Xsound Go and have been using it for 2.5 years now. Extremely reliable!
The bass and treble were terrible, so I returned it immediately and went back to Tribit. I wanted to try a 30W speaker since my old 16W Tribit sounded so good, but the battery eventually died. I assumed 30W would be an upgrade, but as soon as I heard the sound, I didn't want to waste another second on it. Since I mostly listen to Trap music, the poor quality was really obvious. My 16W speaker is honestly much better than this 30W piece of junk. It’s not about the watts; it’s about the brand. Xiaomi is the worst at this, while Tribit actually knows what they're doing.
Yes it's the only good speaker at this budget download tribit app and enable bass bost then check the amazing sound quality its good for 150sq room
> tribit xsound plus Not sure about the new X-sound plus 2. I had a little Tribit Xsound go that was fairly neutral and own a Tribit Micro that is great for the size. I would not call them "dark" or bass heavy. Just kind of flat. I think you would want to use the eq and cut the highs if you are sensitive to those frequencies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8tm3FwCkWM I had big ass Tribit Blast that really thumped but it is not "portable". Bose soundlink Flex is probably going to sound better but it is $150 and the Tribit is half the price. In the sub $100 range the Soundcore motion Boom is still a contender if you like the bass.
+1 on the Soundcore motion boom or Boom 2. The little Tribit cannot do real bass and these budget speakers from Soundcore will not disappoint. I have a couple of the little Tribit xSound Gos and a Motion plus that are great for the size but grab a bigger speaker when I want to thump some bass.
Tribit X sound go was a good suggestion. Small & sounds good, lite on bass. Tribit Srormbox Micro 2. Even more compact. I like the Soundcore motion Plus for when I do not want/need a bass heavy boombox. Gets louder than the sub-compact speakers but to you it will probably have too much bass, especially if you thought the Soundcore 2 was "bass heavy". The really cheap offbrand speakers usually have zero low bass.
Xsound go was my favorite low budget speaker a few years back. The regular Soundcore got good reviews too. Not sure about the others. You could get a pair of the select 4 go for $30 a few days back and people really liked TWS mode.
The Tribit Micro 2 is $35 at aliexperss. Little bit Bigger but way better bass. Tribit Xsound go can be found for under $30 once in a while. It is an older model but still hangs with the other small budget speakers. If you do not need a tiny portable the Earfun Uboom X is about $50 and worth the extra $10 imo.
You compare portable BT speakers according to size and then factor in sound quality and price. If you have a better sounding speaker in the sub 650gram category post it up. I have owned a few of the Tribix X sound go speakers and they were great for the size but the bass will be lacking when compared to larger speakers. Physics.
I really, really like the small xsound go models. To me they sound better than the larger ones at normal listening volumes, while being smaller and cheaper. If I don’t need loud it’s the one I always grab. Bit smaller than a 12oz can. It’s a standout product in a sea of a 100 other compact options. My .02 others are competitive or beat out tribit in the larger offerings, but the go ones are the smallest I’ve found with a good balanced sound. I don’t feel punished at all using it.
