"I bought a UE mega boom about 7ish years ago and it’s seen some things. ... Used at almost full volume every day in a body shop 5 days a week for 2 of those years. ... Been left out in the rain, dropped, dust covered. Still going strong."
"Yes it's a tank and it's basically waterproof."
"I use them in the shower, kitchen, garage and yard work. They get wet"

I have the UE Megaboom 3 and the JBL Flip 6. I prefer the sound and bass of the JBL. Really impressive for its size.
Well I have a UE Megaboom 3 that im in the process of replacing one driver due to my over curiosity but its been the best sounding and most rugged bluetooth portable speaker ive had a nd i love the app with remote power on/off. Pricewise I recommend the Walmart ONN. Rugged Large Portable Bluetooth speaker for under $100 Canadian.
Most of them still have aux input surprisingly But it really depends on your devices. I have no problems with my ultimate ear megaboom 3
Ultimate Ears Megaboom 3 Much better than most listed here, esp the JBL flip. Huge upgrade without a significant jump in cost.
UE megaboom 3 is all I need for a portable speaker. Durable, sounds alright, decent battery life. For headphones my Sennheiser HD1 have been treating me right for years.
My mega boom 3 is working well. Now the sound it makes isn't up to snuff compared to the competition.
MegaBoom 3 or 4 should do the trick.
Ultimate Ears megaboom rocks. Have and one for nearly 10 years and still punches bass and had great battery and water proofing.
I can't comment on the Hyperboom as I've never heard one. However, I have heard various generations of the Boom and Megaboom and I can tell you that these definitely don't sound good at all.

For the ~$200 price range I’d look at the UE MEGABOOM. Really enjoy mine.
