I agree that the Wonderboom is a great small speaker. I use one mostly indoors, and it is great for the kitchen, home office ect. Its softball size is great so it does not take up much room at all. I never have connection issues with WB2. It does seem the Bose Flex 2 is still the best sounding personal speaker. The Soundcore Motion 300 or Soundcore Glow are both really nice values. I saw that the JBL flip 6 is still on sale at Best Buy usa and a few more places.

I like the Wonderboom by UE. The JBL Go looked solid from seeing it displayed.

I have the liked Wonderboom that I have had for a couple of year. Good sound quality. I believe wonderboom 4 now uses USB C and has better bass. Soundcore with the Glow or the Motion 300 have good reviews.

I have liked the Wonderboom that I bought during Covid. I like its softball size. It is super easy carry or put on a small desk while working The Bose Flex is a great sounding small speaker. I did get a chance to hear recently both the JBL Flip 6 and Sony Ult 1 they both sounded really good . The Soundcore Motion 300 and Glow both sound quite good. The Glow has a 360 sound design similar to the the ue Wonderboom or boom 4. (edited to fix grammar).

I like the Wonderboom as a good sounding speaker the size of a softball. Tribit micro or Soundcore Glow Mini are good too.

I just like the size. It makes it easy to pack and move around. It was better than smallest Sony when I got mine, but there are more choices now.

I have enjoyed the Wonderboom. I like the small footprint and 360 sound actually works well. JBL Flip 6 is good. It likely has a little bit better sound quality than Wonderboom (wonderboom sounds quite good, but I think JBL adds a bit more bass). Soundcore Motion 300 is good too. It is modeled after the Bose Flex. It does sound really good.

I have liked the UE wonderboom as a nice sounding personal speaker that emphasizes mid range. The Bose Flex sounds great too for trying the demo at Best Buy.

I tried several small speakers at Best Buy. The clarity of the Bose Flex is impressive. I have the UE Wonderboom. It has nice clarity too.

I like the UE Wonderboom for balanced sound. I have heard JBL flip 6 and Sony Ult 1 at a box store. Sounded good with stock sound. The Cnet audio editor thought Soundcore 300 is the best value purchase. Bose flex best pick at a higher price. Edited for grammar

Most are waterproof. If you wanted a smaller size for a home office or kitchen, I would look at Bose Flex, JBL Flip 6, Soundcore Glow/Soundcore Motion 300, Sony Ult 1. I have liked the Wonderboom by UE. I like its size that is similar to a softball. It has nice sound for its size.

UE Wonderboom is great, I prefer it to their larger Megaboom model Nice stereo image (for a Bluetooth speaker) and a nice full sound

For beaches and loud listening id recommend any UE speaker that you can get in your budget would do. Emphasis on wonderboom for its size to volume magic and dollar to value ratio.

I keep mine in the shower. Probably had it four or five years, and it still works flawlessly. I only charge it once every few weeks.

We too have a pair like others from UE that are pretty old and still play very well

It also floats if you drop it in the water. I bring mine sailing all the time. They’re great. Sound is fine, but the environments they’re designed to work in make up for any sound shortcomings.

You can connect hundreds of them together if you want, from the little ones that fit in your pocket all the way up to the huge one that's like 2 feet tall. They sound great and they're very durable. I have several that I've used all over the world in very rough environments and never had an issue with any of them.

I've had every version of the wonderboom. My first one is fine, but the battery life has dwindled over the years. Wonderboom 2 quit having the ability to connect, it never appears when you try to pair it. That was after a solid five years(I think). It just quit working a month or two ago. Wonderboom 3 hasn't had any issues. These speakers are water and impact resistant. They're basically indestructible, as long as you can get past the shitty microUSB connector on the bottom.

best is relative. great sound for money value you get with soundcore motion plus or tribit xsound plus 2. But then you moght want tuse teh app and try ew settings. best portabilty and out of the boy usability ou get with jbl flip 6, ue wonderboom, or sony ult field 1. The latter is a little bigger than the others, but includes speakerphone, a flexile strap and vertical and horizontal positioniong, so its the most practical one.

I don't use any of my speakers for onewheel but I do love my UE Wonderboom. It has a loop so you can attach it to things and a button to change the song so you don't have to dig your phone out. I normally use my Samsung buds pro 2 for riding with pass through on

I use the wonderboom daily and in my opinion it doesn’t sound that great. But it is extremely durable, ip68 and gets pretty loud with decent battery life

I use it on a construction site clipped on to my tool belt so it’s pretty much perfect if not a little awkwardly shaped which is my only gripe. If I need something that I can leave stationary to cover a larger area I bought a Stormbox blast, and that lasts me an 8hr work day easily and is just loud enough for most jobs.

Wonderboom is a classic. Get battery and great surround sound for it's size. For a picnic table outside it does a satisfying job. It's the #1 rated BT speaker by the NY Times. Of course there's bigger and better, but one has to remember that BT portable speakers are supposed to be portable and scratch that itch adequately. A heavy JBL BB3 really really stretched the red line of what's portable. Full stop, BT speakers will NEVER replace a good home sound system. Plus the batteries will brick the device in a few years when it loses its charge....So really, spending large amounts is futile for something that should be considered a disposable razor. And if you're really willing to spend more than $150, you better really use it more than twice a week otherwise you're losing money on that ticking time bomb of a battery which is permanently draining its strength month by month...unless it's a portabke plug in, which is the ultimate recommendation.

I had the wonderboom also that one sounds great (even bass) and the battery lasts alllll day at half volume. Which is still plenty loud unless you want people coming out the door wondering wtf that racket outside is. It’s just kinda big

Agreed. In my opinion, the only speaker that’s worth it from UR I guess is the Wonderboom series. Sometimes you can find it for $70-$80, but other than that, nope

I dont think they are overhyped because not many people here or online are suggesting they are “best in class” other than maybe some random YouTubers. they are popular with consumers because they have good IP protection and rated for drop protection at least their smaller ones. also most of them have 360 sound design so consumers dont need to be conscious about how they place it they can just focus on listening to the music. easy to use. imo the only good ones are Wonderboom and Hyperboom. Wonderboom has impressive battery life and big sound for its size (has same size drivers and sound as Boom) I have two of them so am a bit biased. latency is on the low side as well. other than that downsides are it reduces bass quite quickly above 50% volume and except for the new WB4 they all charge with micro usb. Hyperboom is decently specced and performs well at higher volume with minimal compression and distortion. large dispersion as well but not 360. downsides are there are bassier speakers with similar drivers and it only charges via AC cord.

just curious can you pair all 6 wonderbooms in party (mono) mode? or just TWS? I have two so can pair in TWS wondering if I can pair more.

thanks yeah thats what I thought. I kinda like things simplified so happy Wonderboom has no app. but its not great having to stereo pair them all the time by holding the button on each speaker. wish they would stay paired in TWS. 😭

I like my Bose Flex. Great sound for the size, better than my Wonderboom. My Big JamBox from many years ago is still the king for me—although its battery has faded a lot, it still packs a punch.
