I have the Wonderboom 3 and I love its form factor and rugged build, but I don’t use it often because it has pitiful bass. I understand the 4 is basically the same as the 3, just with a USB-C instead of micro USB charging port. I really wish they’d make one with decent bass, like the Minirig 3 which is of similar size, but changing nothing else.

r/Bluetooth_Speakers • i thought the wonderboom 4 would be good upgrade to the wonderboom 2 but all it got was a usb port and a different tune. save your money and get the wonderboom 2 over the 3 and 4. ->Wonderboom is a classic. Get battery and great surround sound for it's size. For a picnic table outside it does a satisfying job. It's the #1 rated BT speaker by the NY Times. Of course there's bigger and better, but one has to remember that BT portable speakers are supposed to be portable and scratch that itch adequately. A heavy JBL BB3 really really stretched the red line of what's portable. Full stop, BT speakers will NEVER replace a good home sound system. Plus the batteries will brick the device in a few years when it loses its charge....So really, spending large amounts is futile for something that should be considered a disposable razor. And if you're really willing to spend more than $150, you better really use it more than twice a week otherwise you're losing money on that ticking time bomb of a battery which is permanently draining its strength month by month...unless it's a portabke plug in, which is the ultimate recommendation.

If I need something that I can leave stationary to cover a larger area I bought a Stormbox blast, and that lasts me an 8hr work day easily and is just loud enough for most jobs.

Did you connect them in Stereo and how did you find the sound experience in comparison to other (single) speakers? I think, connection of 2 speakers to stereo mode is quite nice an can replace a much higher rated and more expensive speaker. Maybe not in volume and power, but much more to a better sound stage.
