"10-15 day battery life"
"16 days battery life on my fenix. ... The other aspect I really appreciate about my fenix is the battery life. 16 days or so. With everything I have to change these days (laptops, mice, keyboards, headphones, watches, phones), I appreciate not having to worry about it too often."
"the battery lasts 2 weeks, that's with 5 days worth of tracking runs and day to day use. Incredible."

"I'm currently using them on a sailboat (Ericson 30+), and they sound great in the cabin down below as well as up in the cockpit when I'm sailing offshore (Pacific) or in San Francisco Bay."
"Plus, it’s water resistant so I put it in the bathroom while I shower!"

"the IPX7 rating makes it perfect for wet environments like the shower."
"Mine has been stepped on, played with by my sheep, dropped, rained on, dunked in water, beat on by ducks and geese, you name it. Still works great."

"it sounds fucking amazing. ... I was blown away at Best Buy. I thought this was fake somehow like there is no way this thing is producing that bass and that level. ... The speaker is phenomenal. ... At first it was almost too bass heavy; but after an hour or two of playtime it broke in and the mids came alive, without loosing any bass. ... it still sounds fucking incredible."
"the Bose sounds terrific for pretty much every genre I've hit it with, including Bass-heavy EDM."
"The EQ is the biggest upgrade in my opinion, it really fixes the highs and mids especially in the standing position where the old flex lacks crisp."

"I settled for the Insta360 Go3s which allows me to record discreetly while leaving my hands free. ... Now I just place the tiny 4k camera on my cap and record my POV in my travels."

"Its bass seemed totally neutered."
"My jbl charge 4 and jbl flip 6 suffered driver blown out despite no drop, no play high volume, and bass boosted song. ... My flip 6 sounded the same as the OP blown flip 6 driver here: https://www.reddit.com/r/JBL/comments/1047fcc/brand_new_flip_6_has_distorted_bass/ ... The sound is similar to this one: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15XT0ZtmimMEntpvqaPB0B63x4K5UVdek/view ... My charge 4 and flip 6 started doing this after the warranty is over. I didn't use the lfm mode and I played these two speakers at <50% volume. Musics are from Spotify streaming. Flip 6 used default EQ."

Of the small ones there is nothing that surpasses the UE wonderboom 4
Ese es tu caso en particular, nada que ver con la calidad y el sonido que brinda al ser tan compacto y su calidad de alta resistencia
For indoors or just quiet outdoor listening prob the UE Wonderboom 3 or 4 For loudness, boom 2 or boom 2 plus, or motion boom plus

Wonderboom 4. Loud and clean.
Lately, I’ve had the chance to check out more than 64 different Bluetooth speakers, so I thought I’d share my insights to help anyone looking for a great speaker for their laptop. Whether for work, music, or calls, here’s what to consider before buying: * **Sound Quality** \- Clear audio with balanced bass and treble. * **Portability** \- Look for a lightweight speaker (10-30 ounces) if you move around. * **Battery Life** \- At least 8-12 hours for all-day use. * **Connectivity** \- Bluetooth 5.0+ ensures a stable connection. * **Durability** \- Waterproof or dustproof if you need it for travel. # Top Bluetooth Speakers for Laptops **1. Bose SoundLink Flex** – Delivers crisp sound with deep bass in a compact size. It’s IP67-rated, meaning waterproof and dustproof, and has 12-hour battery life. Its PositionIQ tech adjusts sound based on orientation, making it versatile for any setup. **2.JBL Flip 6** – Offers a strong 30W output with powerful bass and an IP67 rating. 12-hour battery, PartyBoost pairing for stereo sound, and rugged design make it a great choice for both indoor and outdoor use. **3.Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 4** – Delivers 360° sound, is IP67-rated waterproof and floats, and has a solid 14-hour battery life. Outdoor Boost mode enhances clarity in open spaces, making it great for travel. I recommend [checking out](https://requiremints.com/guide/best-bluetooth-speakers/) more options to find the best fit based on budget and features. Let me know if you have any questions or if you’ve used any of these.
The Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 4 has 360-degree sound, making it great for open spaces. It also has an Outdoor Boost mode to improve performance in noisy environments. It’s lighter and floats on water, which could be a big plus if you’re near a pool or beach.
Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4. It’s stereo, sounds clear and enjoyable, and the build quality is top-notch.
They sound like a mini cinema sound system when paired together! I absolutely recommend it!
> Can the wonderboom 2 connect with the wonderboom 4? Nope. I have the 3 and 4 - they can't connect.
TLDR: If possible, listen to several options in person before deciding. Then, buy the Bose Soundlink Flex 2. Supports AAC and has Snapdragon Qualcomm to play the aptX codec. It’s on sale most places for just over $100 right now. You won’t be disappointed, unless you prefer shitty speakers. You will not find anyone here agreeing on a single speaker as the best. There is asr and other ways to see all the measurements/performance; but the best way to find the speaker that is best for you is listening to them IN PERSON I was on the hunt the other day for a roughly $100 speaker. Most top comments I saw were all for Soundcore (Anker). I love anker, but the problem was I needed it that day and I could only find soundcore online. This also meant I would be buying deaf (as in I’ve never heard these speakers, people say they are good, I hope I agree) I basically had it narrowed down to jbl, Sony, bose, UE. Went to target first but their display to listen to the speakers only featured jbl, and also didn’t work. I went across the street to Best Buy which is where I should’ve gone to begin with. Bigger selection and every speaker for sale was on the floor to listen to. I initially was planning to buy the UE Wonderboom 4. I had this plan because of the favorable reviews I read here. I am so glad I could listen to it first. It was so bad. Its bass seemed totally neutered. I asked the staff if this floor model was blown or had been out for a long time and then ensured me it wasn’t blown & they check weekly to ensure all floor model demo speakers are a genuine representation of what you will get when you bring it home. I was so so so glad I didn’t walk out with that one. I would have if I didn’t do a listen test first. But then I had no idea what to get and there was no agreed upon consensus online. I listened through the jbl line, the new Sony stuff. Finally at the end got to Bose and found what I was searching for. I’ve never been into Bose. Sure like 15 years ago they came out with noise cancelling headphones and that was cool; but was also the last time I cared about Bose. There’s a handful of mentions on here regarding the Bose Soundlink Flex, but most people said go for jbl over the flex because jbl has an app with eq. The current Bose Soundlink Flex for sale is the gen 2 version. Gen 2 has an app with eq. Beyond that, it sounds fucking amazing. I was blown away at Best Buy. I thought this was fake somehow like there is no way this thing is producing that bass and that level. The speaker is phenomenal. At first it was almost too bass heavy; but after an hour or two of playtime it broke in and the mids came alive, without loosing any bass. Idk anything about the gen 1 version. But gen 2 has snapdragon Qualcomm tech, can play in AAC and aptX codecs (much higher quality Bluetooth, android only typically though, it’s a source thing) I unfortunately have an iPhone so can’t use the snapdragon (until I buy a Qudelix, or something similar) but, it still sounds fucking incredible. Also, you can get a 2nd one and play them in stereo. I am not exaggerating: if I got another, I could put them on either side of my tv and that would be my home theater. Edit: spelling & grandma
Who's ever going to put a honker like the uBoom X in their bathroom? 😂. Of course it's going to sound big with the bass waves bouncing around a narrow bathroom. LOL! For comparison, I use a Wonderboom 4 in my shampoo niche. It does the job just fine. 😄
Dude, I'm with you. I was at Costco the other day and played it. Wow, it sounded good! Total steal for $79! And I'm a guy that owns the best of the best in such Bluetooth speakers and tried dozens of the highest rated. I also picked up great speakers at Target as well, such as the Wonderboom 4 for $29, Marshall Acton 3 for $170. I also saw the Extreme 4 on supersale but I already knew that speaker blowed, LOL. I just bought a Brane X during Prime Days to try out. It's going to take a lot to scooch over my HK GP3s in stereo ($83/each during Black Friday)... 🤷♂️
To answer your questions: Harmon Kardon GoPlay 3. That's my proudest BT purchase. $83/each for a universally top-of-the-top rated speaker that goes for over $350. I use 2 in stereo when watching movies on the iPad on the deck. Much more satisfying and balanced than even a whopper JBL Boombox 3 WiFi. A total banger of a speaker when you want to rock out! Acton 3 is absolutely amazing! Grabbed 3 for the bedrooms during Target's blowout sale. I listen to it daily. Powerful yet balanced. VERY(!!) satisfying! It's Amazon's highest user rated BT speaker at 4.8/5 for good reason. 👍 The WB 4 was a Target pricing mistake. They had the WB3 priced at $29 on supersale, and they mis-ticketed the newly released WB4 at the same price. 😄 The WB4 is a great little speaker for the outside deck hung on the pole of the deck umbrella (i.e. podcasts, YouTube/YouTube TV, background music). I'm not left for "wanting" when listening to it. Perfect for car road trips/hotels. There's a reason why the WB4 is NYTimes top rated speaker-- a cheap, supremely portable "do-it-all" device with a 14 hr battery. Hard to argue against it. 🤷🏽♂️
I've pushed just shot everything good mentioned on this board at some point. The WB4 will not leave you wanting. For it's size it satisfies. That's why it's so highly rated and it's the #1 recommendation from New York Times, etc. It's a grab and go that gives enough sound to please Of course, if you're a bass head you'll want a proper sized boombox. But for most listeners, that's complete overkill.
Wonderboom is a classic. Get battery and great surround sound for it's size. For a picnic table outside it does a satisfying job. It's the #1 rated BT speaker by the NY Times. Of course there's bigger and better, but one has to remember that BT portable speakers are supposed to be portable and scratch that itch adequately. A heavy JBL BB3 really really stretched the red line of what's portable. Full stop, BT speakers will NEVER replace a good home sound system. Plus the batteries will brick the device in a few years when it loses its charge....So really, spending large amounts is futile for something that should be considered a disposable razor. And if you're really willing to spend more than $150, you better really use it more than twice a week otherwise you're losing money on that ticking time bomb of a battery which is permanently draining its strength month by month...unless it's a portabke plug in, which is the ultimate recommendation.
Ultimate Ears WonderBoom 4 for $34 with tax and shipping. Sounds better than the Bose Soundlink Micro I had and was a third of the price.
