Hi everyone, I currently have a wonderboom first gen that is awesome and still functioning fine. Mainly used as the indoor mini speaker and shower speaker. I also have a first gen megaboom that is somewhat broken (half of it works the bottom half has no sound or bass, and the battery life is dead) I’m searching for a new outdoor speaker and I’ve come across 2 options. Megaboom 4 or Everboom. I’m open to other brands other than Ultimate Ears, but not entirely sold on JBL or Bose yet since I love the durability of the UE, and since I have some friends with JBL’s and they say the wonderboom sounds better. Any input? Thanks in advance 🙏
Hi everyone, I am looking for a compact bluetooth speaker and I am mainly torn between the Tribit StormBox Micro 3 and the JBL Flip 7. Just for context I have been using a first generation UE Wonderboom until now and I always found the sound quality to be perfectly fine for my taste My main usage would be at home in the shower and outdoors but always in fairly small and close-range settings. The priority for me is portability so I really need a small lightweight and convenient format to throw in my backpack and carry around easily. I am no audiophile and I do not need amazing sound quality or massive volume for parties so as long as it sounds decent and quite loud for its size it is perfectly fine for me. Which one do you think fits my needs better and are there any other mini alternatives I should look into. Thanks in advance
I have the original UE Wonderboom (it's the smaller version of the regular Boom) and it's lasted me for 8 years now. It's the only device I own that still uses micro USB for charging 😂
Ultimate Ears makes rugged speakers. I've had mine fall around a bit though never from a bike. I am not sure if any other company makes speakers that rugged. Tribit Stormbox Lava floats on water but it's huge for a bike. A UE Wonderboom or Wonderboom 2 might be better I think? Check them and the other speakers out. They're also mud resistant, have some shock resistance and float. The Wonderboom also has this lovely ring so you can hang it. Maybe they're just what you're looking for.
Bought wonderbooms 2 pack from costco like 10 years ago for my kids for like $40 and they still work/sound well and hold good charge, even after falling in the pool many times. They still use them!
I've been rocking my Wonderboom since like 2017
