By the way, I purchased this! Xmas gift for my girlfriend. Her first ever Bluetooth. She absolutely loves it, so thank you very much for putting me on! Did you get yours yet? It’s pretty fantastic for the size and price.

I like this design because it looks like you can stand it upright, or on its side. Just wondering if it will sound better than my 10 year old ‘Big Jambox’?

A new Xiaomi 360 speaker is out, looks pretty promising. 40 watts ( race track woofer + 2 tweeters ) Looks like a flip 6 killer. Ordered mine on aliexpress.

I don't know how this compares to the sound outdoor, i guess we will find that out soon

The drivers are definitely similar, maybe not the exact same drivers. Plus another tweeter tho

The thing is, it's expensive only for certain people, for me th price dropped down to 65 USD, and the driver setup looks promising. Having stereo in such a small unit with included race track driver is hard to find.

You can definitely hook up a few of them, but i'd go for a stationary pair of bookshelf speakers or a decent soundbar.

Yea it is. It's also one directional sound unlile the xiaomi.

I still didn't get mine, still waiting... glad you liked it But i heard that this speaker is kinda "china only" So there's no app support, but i might be wrong maybe they made it available worldwide now

Ofc, i will compare it to the bose flex , motion 300, harman luna, flip 6, charge 5, xsound plus 2 and will rate it based on that.

It's my first time actually buying a xiaomi speaker, i only heard the other ones but never attempted buying one

I got it. For the money, great value, but there are some letdowns. The speaker is fully covered with metal, including the passive radiators. There is an app, which is the main xiaomi app that is also used for their other products. App is very buggy, and i'm personally having volume problems. When a turn on the speaker sometimes it goes all the way up instantly, and the volume steps are different everytime. Maybe i should reset the speaker.

Actually this specific type of race track drivers with the anchor symbals on the sides is a new type of driver, it's way way more powerful than the racetrack drivers used im tv's and other stuff. So yea it kinda started with jbl. And the charge 5 was the moment when all companies realized how good it is, because it adds more surface area of sound in a small package, so obviously everyone are now using that type of drivers except soundcore
