Just bought the Xiaomi Sound Party 50W today. Good price, good sound, good base. Every penny's worth it🙂

Got one too. Any way to make the lights blink in sync with the music?

I had it too but returned it. I really felt the need for an EQ App because the bass really lacked for those specs... The lights are way too simple too. I bought the Soundcore Motion + for around 65$ and the bass is really on another level with the right EQ

Ohh hey guys its been a long time since i posted and im excited to share that i got the xiaomi sound party and i have to admit this is way better than the jbl charge 6 which was my favourite speaker and its like half price i got it for 70€ btw. One thing to mention about what makes it special is the form factor and the 3D light effect! also it sounds way more balanced than the jbl at high volumes jbl sounds harsh to my ears the xiaomi sounds just right also there is no distortion at high volumes as well propably becuse of harman audioEFX. Now for bass i was quite nervous it would not be good enough but i got suprized of how much deeper it can play than the jbl becuse of the passive radiators as well the bass boost makes a huge diference but it actualy makes the sound muddy when you turn it on so i prefer to have it of for more balanced sound and it satisfies me in general! Overall this speaker is defenitly my favourite one so far it is my favourite speaker on par with my soundcore boom 2 so i will sell the jbl and im good to go haha. Btw for people who might ask about the bass respone it can easily play down to 40-45hz!

Not the level of the soundcore becuse xiaomi is smaller 50W and weighs 1.2kg while boom 2 weighs 1.7kg its bigger and has dedicated 4.5inch woofer for deeper bass xiaomi can play down to 40hz easily where as boom 2 can play down to 35hz boom 2 also has 2 tweeters for cleaner sound and xiaomi has one but it sounds balanced up to 80-90% volume without distortion thanks to harman AudioEFX. the soundcore has an app that you can customize the sound and lights which is defenitly better while on the xiaomi you forced to listen out of the box without an app but you can still turn on/off and switch the lights. So in the end ot depends on you the xiaomi is for portability soundcore for bigger sound!

In greece average price of this speaker is 70-100€ which is pretty good actually but yeah for me it turns out to be defective unit sadly as the woofer and radiators rattle a bit at least i can return the defective tomorrow and recieve a new one hoping its a good and not defective unit again....

welp you are right i have tested the speaker myself and i can say you are right so that's why i do not use it at very high volumes so it won't distort to keep things balanced. Either way the speaker has good bass already more enough for my portable speaker to take out with me haha i already have my soundcore boom 2 that easily plays 40hz haha.

In fact its true xiaomi's hardware sucks and yeah i did comparison betwen my charge 6 after i tuned it the way i liked it but i can say i like the xiaomi more becuse it has deeper bass than jbl. Also the sound party dosen't have an app so you just listen to it straight out of the box and can't tune it either way i like harman's audioEFX it sounds very good to me!

Sound: 4/5 Great for pop, R&B, rock, and hip-hop. For classical, it definitely is a bit lacking although it is an improvement from the Xiaomi Outdoor Speakers. Price: 5/5 One of the best values on the market. Affordable enough where you can buy a pair which creates a more dynamic sound and can fill most rooms. I have been using these for trainings that normally range from 5 to 20 people. Features: -Bass boost button (very, very noticeable difference) -Speaker linking with a button(up to 100) -Sleek handle that disappears when not used. Very well designed. Niggles: -No speaker app. -Heavy as a mf. Each speaker is more than a kg. Overall worth it and I would recommend it to anyone that wants a great value and is OK with a heavier speaker. Grade: 4.5/5 Open to any questions.

It's definitely filled with wattage goodness. 50w total. 35 subs and 15w tweeters. Very well constructed. No rattling, no loose part, well balanced weight wise.

I failed to mention that these have Harman AudioEFX meaning they were tuned by the Golden Ears team at Harman Kardon if that means anything to anyone.

The Sound Party speakers are 50w and were about $60 each on Shopee/Lazada, but it's much louder than the older 'outdoor speaker'. Most people probably only need 1.

A pair or Xiaomi Outdoor Speakers (30W).. The sound quality of the ones that got stolen were a notch below, but it was still a great value. I had bought the 30w Xiaomi speakers for about $25-30 each. The 50w Sound Party speakers were about $60 each on Shopee/Lazada.

It's $60 each. These are big 50w Xiaomi speakers that were tuned by the Harman Kardon Golden Ears team. They have speakers at 5w, 15w 30w, and 40w if you want something something smaller and more portable. [Some items for scale.](https://imgur.com/a/PY3tonc)

I've never used the tribit xsound plus 2, but spec-wise, the Xiaomi Party has it beat. and it's 50w. This is a much bigger speaker. The quality is here too.

It's great. I charge it maybe once every 3-4 days depending on usage. I keep one in my bag because it doubles as a powerbank.

It's pretty good for the bedroom. Just keep in mind if you wait till Black Friday they might be even cheaper.

1.For my expectations it's better. Worth every penny. 2.I listened 80% volume, with lights, 6-7 hours and had battery left 40% 3.its loud for size. Honestly I didn't maximumize the sound yet. (Neighbors) 4.Im a bass person. It's good even with the original eq. I think this is the best Xiaomi ever made.

The Sound Party’s honestly a really solid speaker for the price. I usually keep Bass Boost on since it makes the music feel more “alive,” especially for ballads (Celine, Whitney, Mariah kinda stuff). What’s cool is even when you crank it up, the Harman AudioEFX seems to auto-adjust so the bass doesn’t get too boomy. Sound-wise it’s pretty balanced, kinda like JBL—probably a “W”-shaped EQ, and when Bass Boost’s on, you get punchier lows without it getting muddy. Also love that it doubles as a powerbank through USB-C. I’ve been daily driving a JBL Charge 3 and this one’s definitely bigger, so yeah—bigger speaker = more volume. For what it costs, I’m super happy with it.

If it plays down to 40 hz at a hearable db, it will struggle badly with mids.. This small woofer shouldn't play that low especially when it plays mids and upper mids

The xiaomi is decent i gotta say, but xiaomi's hardware sucks based on my experience with their app when trying to mess with a xiaomi speaker. Also when tuning the charge 6 using eq it sounds miles better than the signature eq.

was testing this, overall it depends on room size. In my bedroom (approx 8m2) the Boom2 sounded better w clearer, more defined mids/highs and defo more subs (60ish Hz), but in the larger living room, the Xiaomi filled the space more.
