r/macmini β’ Is there a monitor that can run solely from my Mac Mini M4 via USB-C (no external power needed)? ->Just commenting here to confirm as I'm using two of them right now that I purchased at Costco earlier this week. I have both running without an external power supply via USB-C from my MacBook Pro M3 Max. They're working flawlessly. Only downside I see is that the Costco model doesn't come with any sort of cover / protection for travel so you'll likely want to pick something up for that if you're using these on the go, which I'm assuming is the most common use case for folks picking these up. They also come with a USB-C cable and HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable, and I've tested both inputs with equally positive results. Definitely feels like a solid purchase in terms of quality / money spent. Edit: To clarify, this model does not include a dedicated power supply, only the above-mentioned cables. I would assume this means most, if not all, computers are capable of delivering sufficient power via USB-C alone.
r/Costco β’ Acer 16" portable monitor ->You'd be surprised. I've used mine for both already in the few days I've owned it. It's a fantastic portable monitor for the Nintendo Switch.
r/Costco β’ Acer 16" portable monitor ->I have been using an acer montior for classes and sometimes I'll play the rp5 on this as well. Its a pretty good montior and has different modes for display like game and movie mode *
