I have my laptop plus two monitors as my home set up. However, I do have one of these for when I travel - which is 5-6 times a year and I would say it is definitely worth it. Makes working on the road so much easier !
r/WFH • Recently started WFH, are laptop extenders any good? ->I bought one of these. It was extremely heavy, and I worried it would break the hinge on my laptop. It knocked the lid 180° open a few times. I have my laptop elevated so the kickstand in the back was useless to support the weight. Additionally, they snapped off easily/unhinged themselves anytime I tried to adjust the screens on my laptop or the monitors. If you put them on a desk or use your laptop like a desktop and never move it, maybe. I ended up buying a single portable monitor.
