I've had an Arzopa G1 for years and it works great, especially if your laptop supports video over type C, because you can run it over 1 cable. if not, it works just fine with power from your laptop's USB and separate video.
In my experience, they are a decent brand in general. they make a portable monitor stand too. Its hinges are a bit soft, but it's very convenient if you are willing to spend 30 seconds finding the right position.

Yeah I use my handhelds as travel pcs all the time. I use a dock, I have a low profile mechanical keyboard from keychron, mx anywhere mouse and a 144hz portable monitor from Arzop.
Now that I MacBook Air I don’t do it as much but I still bring the portable monitor and a handheld with me
