Kanken laptop 17, i carry a4H2o, small keyboard and asus g14, asus xg16ahp, barely fits, but no issues for 2 years now.
I have the Asus ROG XG16AHP with my portable setup and I cant recommend it enough https://preview.redd.it/0yax868w4f6h1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bbadc8253b63215b24ebcf72cb6ca182717aaf53
Try to prioritize vrr. Don’t worry about resolutions above 1080p (I’m not a fan of auto sr so higher resolutions doesn’t make sensing my eyes at least). Look at how many nits the display is, ideally want 400+ nits on the brightness. HDR would be nice. Obviously hoping for usb c powered which most are but it’s also nice to have a mini/micro hdmi port. If you can get that with a oled panel then you’ve likely gotten a dang good display. I have one with that list except vrr. Oled and vrr was tougher to find when I bought mine. I don’t know how the market has matured from that point. I very much miss not having vrr. I had the rog strix monitor mentioned above. It did have vrr but I found the colors to be muted and wanted more punch on the nits.
