"I love mine, but recently I found out it won't play full HD content from one particular platform because it isn't HDCP compliant. A big blow. ... There is no HDMI, just a USB Micro B. ... Fine for YouTube, Netflix and Amazon but for this one platform - Stan (in Australia) - it just won't. ... I got it long before Stan acquired the English Premier League (my sole reason for having the subscription!!). ... So now I need to buy a new one with HDMI."

"Kung gusto mo lang ng basic, reliable screen for office, presentations, at okay ka sa 60Hz, ok din si ZenScreen ... Kung gusto mo ng smoother display for gaming or just better scrolling experience, [Z1FC] na. ... yung pinakagusto ko is yong 144Hz na sobrang noticeable talaga."
I got the ZSUS 14" for about £40 the other day - mrs likes it, and it's better than the MUCAI one I got last year. Brilliant bits of kit for the campervan etc. as uses basically no power.
r/Aliexpress • Is this portable monitor under 50€ worth it or is it a scam? ->I mounted basically this but at a \~12.3in (1920x720) size off center above my UW, entirely just to have Discord on (UW is an OLED). It's pretty fuckin great. I also dropped a 14in Asus Zenscreen (technically a "portable" monitor" dead center underneath on my desk, to use for watching twitch streams or movies/shows while playing games. Great setup. I'll probably never go back to having a full size secondary screen on my home setup unless I move somewhere with like an entire dedicated office space with more room.
r/ultrawidemasterrace • What <10 inch monitor do you use to pair with your ultrawide monitor? ->I bought a cheap ASUS zenscreen 1080p for about $150, and it's worked great. Image quality isn't beautiful or anything but it's fine for coding. If you're in video or photo I wouldn't recommend. I also use my ipad pro sometimes, but probably will leave the ipad pro home on the next trip -- the ipad with a cover and keyboard are a lot of weight. I think the asus zenscreen is quite a bit lighter, and it's a much bigger screen than the ipad.
r/digitalnomad • Portable monitor recs for long-term travel? ->I got a zenscreen from asus. They have many sizes, plug and play 1 usb-C to usb-c cable.
r/laptops • A portable monitor to "reportabilize" a headless laptop? ->I use a 15" portable Asus USB monitor on my Studio as the third monitor. Run FCP in the 2 desktop monitors. The USB for anything else. Works great.
r/MacStudio • Mac Studio with a portable monitor ->It's a 4 year old Asus USB A. The cable came with it and it's not HDMI at the other end (Or it is HDMI, just with different interface. ) It was not expensive and it super versatile. I also use it on MacBook Pro and a HP Windows laptop. Great investment as it still fits is a backpack along with whatever laptop. It's probably not what you want for gaming. But it's a GREAT accessory monitor. Unfortunately I can't give you exact model number today as I just moved yesterday and it's packed away at the moment. Also it's old enough I'm sure that exact model number isn't the same anymore. But don't overthink it. Just find one that says "works on Mac". The Studio will handle it just fine.
r/MacStudio • Mac Studio with a portable monitor ->Follow up. ASUS no longer makes a USB A to micro HDMI. They use USB C with Display capability to their Micro HDMI port. The Mac Studio's USB C on the back handle this fine. They are display port capable. So yes, Asus Zenscreen Portable should be fine on your Studio. (Note it's now a touch screen as well. So undoubtedly more money than non-touch monitor) But shop around. It's not rare or complicated.
r/MacStudio • Mac Studio with a portable monitor ->Asus ZenScreen. I'm selling mine if you happen to be in New York (I went up to an 18"), although it's LED and 1080. No reason why you'd need 4k resolution on a 16".
r/digitalnomad • [REQUEST] Portable Monitor - Slim/Light, Single-Cable USB-C Power/Video from Laptop ->I love mine, but recently I found out it won't play full HD content from one particular platform because it isn't HDCP compliant. A big blow. There is no HDMI, just a USB Micro B. Fine for YouTube, Netflix and Amazon but for this one platform - Stan (in Australia) - it just won't. I have an Asus ZenScreen but not a high-end one, and I got it long before Stan acquired the English Premier League (my sole reason for having the subscription!!). Perfect for everything else, just not this. So now I need to buy a new one with HDMI. I've gone for an ARZOPA A1. Arrives tomorrow. Just something to consider when checking the specs..
r/Workspaces • For the people who have a portable monitor as a second monitor, was it helpful? ->I used to use a ZenScreen but somewhere along the way I stopped using it. Don't know why to be honest
r/productivity • Are portable monitors still seen as a gimmick ->I used an ASUS ZenScreen for two years until it got broken thanks to the dumb security checks at a Vietnamese airport. Very good screen, recommend it, got a newer model after this one.
Anyway few things to ask lang Saan mo gagamitin? Oo like pairing sa gaming rig pero like what exactly? Supported ba ng pc mo yung USB A to C? If sa GPU mo isa lang ang HDMI mo kailangan mo ng converter. Anong device pang gagamit mo?
r/PHbuildapc • What portable monitor should i get? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
