Here are what you need for each of the two sinks: * **Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+** While this device has a USB-C port with DP alt mode, the tablet cannot serve as a DP alt mode video sink; the tablet can only serve as a USB data sink for video with software such as MyAsus (GlideX) on the Asus RoG Ally. * **Asus ZenScreen MB16ACV** This is a DP-DisplayLink hybrid monitor that can serve as either a DP alt mode video sink or a USB data sink for video (DisplayLink in this case). The DisplayLink capability is a fallback in case the host/hub/dock does not support DP alt mode (as DP alt mode offers significantly better performance). You can't convert the HDMI out on the RevDock to a USB-C out with DP alt mode out using a USB-C to HDMI adapter. They aren't designed for that. You need a hub/dock that has a USB-C out with DP alt mode in order to get the best performance out of your ZenScreen. Here are a few options depending on your hub/dock needs: * [NewQ NQ-HB-16 Triple Display Mini-Dock](https://www.amazon.com/Monitor-Splitter-30-60Hz-Full-Function-Docking/dp/B0F1T9F61K) * [Selore&S-Global USB4 Peripheral Mini-Dock](https://www.amazon.com/Docking-Station-Monitor-Windows-Matebook/dp/B09B1VXDYH) * [Selore&S-Global SEUC6101 USB4 Peripheral Hub](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CT2HZ1ZY) While it doesn't matter whether the hub/dock supports DP alt mode when using the Galaxy Tab as a USB data sink for video (with whatever software), it does matter when using the Galaxy Tab as a video source (i.e. as the host).

I've been using an ASUS MB16AC for like 2 years now and it's pretty solid. USB-C power and display through one cable is clutch when you're moving around a lot The stand is kinda flimsy but for the price it does what I need

Asus: MB16AC Crushed it, broken bezel, smashed in aluminum housing on two corners, head and shoulders shampoo ruptured all over it. Dropped it. It’s not indestructible by any means, but it’s designed to travel in a carryon Still works great.

I tried portable monitors for a bit (ASUS MB16AC) but honestly the biggest issue wasn't the second screen - it was what's ON my screen during demos. When you're doing split-screen workflows with client data visible, the stress of accidentally showing the wrong thing is worse than working off one screen. What helped me more than hardware was setting up a completely separate browser profile just for client demos. Nothing personal in it, no other client data, zero chance of showing sensitive stuff during screen shares. Launch it before demos, close it after. Sounds simple but it removed so much anxiety. For the actual monitor setup, I ended up just using my laptop screen for demos and keeping all my reference material / notes on my phone next to me. Not ideal but way more portable than dragging hardware around. What kind of software are you demoing? Curious if it's SaaS implementations or something else.

I have a 15inch m4 macbook air and i use my old asus zenscreen 15inch. It's now my secondary monitor even at home and i keep my macbook docked. At coffees i have the screen over my laptop screen to take less space on a overly expansive stand lol ( FLEXSTA ). At work i have them side by side with my laptop on a roost stand. At home i have it rotated 90degree next to my studio display

I purchased one of the Asus Zenscreen 15” a year or so ago. Brilliant and came with a pouch and USB-C cable.

Asus ZenScreen 13 or 15, 13 is super light, 1 cable (powered by USBC) Quality isn’t great - not for gaming but prioritize which content you want on your laptop and which can be on the secondary.

I bought a cheap ASUS zenscreen 1080p for about $150, and it's worked great. Image quality isn't beautiful or anything but it's fine for coding. If you're in video or photo I wouldn't recommend. I also use my ipad pro sometimes, but probably will leave the ipad pro home on the next trip -- the ipad with a cover and keyboard are a lot of weight. I think the asus zenscreen is quite a bit lighter, and it's a much bigger screen than the ipad.
