A bit more expensive but this is the one I use: [https://www.amazon.com/espresso-Displays-Connectivity-Multi-Device-Compatibility/dp/B0DLYMGVY8](https://www.amazon.com/espresso-Displays-Connectivity-Multi-Device-Compatibility/dp/B0DLYMGVY8)
Yeah the concept of multiple screens with your laptop is def worth the investment. But I'm not always so sure about those laptop wing attachment concepts. I used one and it nearly broke the hinge of my laptop screen as there was a lot of weight on the back. I'd actually recommend going with a standalone portable monitor instead - way more flexibility and you're not putting stress on your laptop. I use an espresso Display for the ergonomic angle of putting it above my laptop, but there are other options available too. What kind of work are you doing that's making you consider the second screen? That might help narrow down if its worth it for your specific use case.
Been using an espresso Display for over a year now and it's great - seems like one of the best options for Mac
I use an espresso Display with the ergonomic stand. I like it! I use the one that isn't touch screen but they also have ones which are touchscreen for documents. Not sure about the rest of them though!
For build and ergonomics, Espresso blows cheaper Amazon ones out of the water.
I've had an espresso for 2 years now. Great monitor, super light weight. Have taken it traveling and used it as a second monitor. It primarily sits on my desk as a third monitor. The magnetic stand doesn't work very well. The monitor will slide down the magnet mount if the angle is too vertical. The stand itself will collapse in on itself if not positioned at the right angle. Those are the only things I find annoying about it, but it's a great portable monitor. Basically like carrying a large iPad.
Espresso made entrepreneur setup feel professional. worth every cent.
i tested both for photo work on mac. the espresso has noticeably better color accuracy out of the box - closer to the ipad pro's p3 coverage. the sotsu is slightly brighter but the coating is more aggressive which makes it look less sharp next to a macbook screen. both beat the cheap amazon ones by a mile though. if screen matching matters most, espresso edges it. asus also makes the zencreen series which sits in between these two price wise and holds up well color wise.
Espresso's Display was easily my best gear.
Espresso display is great , good for travel.
If screen quality matters, Espresso is usually praised for color and build, but you might also want to check options from LG like the StanbyME line, not as ultra-thin, but the display quality and versatility can be surprisingly great for work, media, and travel setups. It's great for working moms like me who needs reliable screen quality on the go,
Bought Espresso Display a while back, magnetic stand made huge difference
Espresso Display at $299 best gear investment I've made for nomad life.
