I've had an espresso for 2 years now. Great monitor, super light weight. Have taken it traveling and used it as a second monitor. It primarily sits on my desk as a third monitor. The magnetic stand doesn't work very well. The monitor will slide down the magnet mount if the angle is too vertical. The stand itself will collapse in on itself if not positioned at the right angle. Those are the only things I find annoying about it, but it's a great portable monitor. Basically like carrying a large iPad.

I have an 15” Espresso Display and it requires additional power when connected to Ally X.

r/ROGAllyX • Does the ROG Ally X work with a portable monitor using just a USB-C cable? ->
