Not sure about physical store, but the uperfect brand has some great and really reasonable priced options on Lazada, got the 3k 120hz OLED 16”for 5,300, they also have a touchscreen option on the same, for around 6k. If you need in person fast, could try icon mall/computer plaza, and another electronics store which are all near the north-west corner of old town.
r/chiangmai • Portable external monitor ->It can go very bright, much brighter than my old ips screen, I like using just around 60% brightness in a dim room. Also lowered colors a bit as they are a bit too intense and vivid with the default settings. The screen is glossy however, which makes it reflective and hard to use in the daylight, so I wouldn’t recommend using it anywhere outside or with unshaded windows or other bright lights behind you. Overall very happy with it, it looks great and really smooth with the high refresh rate. If I picked again I would probably look for a matte screen, and maybe push it slightly bigger, the 16” is really light, so I wouldn’t mind around 17-18”
r/chiangmai • Portable external monitor ->If you want one of the best looking screens for a decent price, uperfect/eviciv 3k OLED looks absolutely amazing. It's probably overkill for the steam deck tho, but I also use it for movies/desktop use. It's pretty much the best looking portable you can get right now, but a lot of people have reported bugs/issues, including mine, the usb-c ports failed on mine, so I'm getting another one, fingers crossed.
r/SteamDeck • Portable Monitor Recommendations? ->These go for about 250 euro / 210-ish pounds? The panel is super high quality and comes straight from the Samsung Galaxy book, if you shine a flashlight you can even see the Samsung logo, lol. But these are the first units with such a quality panel, so it's a bit of a gamble for now.
