INNOCN - 15.6" FHD 1080P Portable Monitor (External Silver)

For anyone wondering if a portable display monitor will work with an R50, it will. I purchased a <$60 15.6” monitor from Amazon. You’ll need to power it via USB-C since the USB-C port on the R50 does not power devices. I used an Anker Powerbank. After it’s powered, just connect the devices via HDMI and you’re all set to go! This provides me the ability to take advantage of the external display capabilities to see more data.

Please note that in this pic the sun was behind the screens, so I have to imagine at the wrong angles it will be difficult to see either the monitor or R50 screen. Make sure to get a screen that’s powered via USB-C. I also got a model with standard HDMI ports (vs mini HDMI). In hindsight I probably would’ve opted for a larger screen (ie. 18-20”) but the 15.9” allow for portability and other uses for my fam (ie. gaming, etc).

I’m a 2 monitor+laptop person but when I travel I use [this portable monitor](https://a.co/d/0eGNeLFN). Much cheaper and only a bit smaller than the one you linked. Between the laptop and that screen it works well. Another option is using your TV as a monitor.

I have a mini phone and a portable.monitor on my arm chair side table as I just don't like tablets. And it's awesome ! Innoview 1080p. I would love a touchscreen one tho

I have a base mini and I just got an Innoview portable monitor and connected it to the mini. I tried two other monitors in this price range and it looks good. See my post in macsetups.

I got an Innoview 15" and it works for me. Not expensive.
