I got one on Amazon by KYY for about $70. It uses USB-C and comes with a little fold out stand and it’s great! Now that I work from home permanently, I bought a tablet clamp and I use that little monitor as a third monitor.
I bought this same one off Amazon and love it!
I bought my 15.6 KYY in April 2024 and have been using it daily since. It's taken a few falls over that time too. And it's held up pretty well other than a small nick in the plastic of the screen from one of the falls. I'm actually impressed for a cheap monitor that only cost $70.
I used a folio style one while in college. The brand was KYY and I got it off of Goodwill’s website for like $30. Their prices aren’t too bad on Amazon nowadays, they are around $50. I mainly use the type c connection but it works with micro hdmi as well.
From Amazon, brand name is KYY (have 2 of them)…each cost USD$60 and they’re USB-C (powered by my M4 Mac Mini)
Had my kyy usb-c portable monitor for about a year now. Good investment for second laptop monitor.
