KYY - Portable Monitor 15.6inch

I picked up one of these [https://a.co/d/0rOjU4e](https://a.co/d/0rOjU4e) on a fire sale. These are all over with various brand labels, but they all seem to be the same. It's fine! I would have been disappointed at the MSRP, at the current price it's perfectly fine.

If you are on a budget I got a KYY 15.6 inch portable monitor. It was $70 on amazon and has 2 powered usbc ports so you can use your steam power adapter on the monitor and run a usb c cord (included with monitor) to the deck for power to deck and video to monitor. Portable monitor recommendation: https://a.co/d/37nJEtL I've been using it for several months now and have no complaints. The only thing is that it's not a touch screen, but you really don't need it.

If you're looking for a home setup, I would honestly just get a real monitor (and a dock) for home use. Having the screen real estate of a 27"+ screen at the right height, directly in front of you, is irreplaceable. For travel, I pack a small [USB-C portable monitor](https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Monitor-15-6inch-Computer-Protector/dp/B088D8JG3L?sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1), but honestly don't really use it all that much. I prefer the separate monitor over the extender so that I can adjust it's location to suit my needs. Also good for swinging it around and presenting it to someone else in the room. Also also, doesn't put physical strain on the actual laptop.

Totally this. This Pi monitor also doesn't support DP over USB-C. I've got a [cheap (and really nice) display](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BKKLV9HY) that gets it power AND video over USB-C. Works with modern Macs and PCs that support this. One cable is all that is necessary for these devices. Also has a Mini HDMI for legacy devices.

Clip to, not sure.... But there are relatively 'Cheap' external portable monitors that can do the job. I picked up a 15.6 inch KYY branded one from Amazon for like $50 to use as a second screen. Works well enough. The speakers on it absolutely suck, but I use Bluetooth Speakers anyway. I recommend a External Portable Monitor for all kinds of uses anyway. Never know when one will come in handy.
