I found the Asus monitor to be way too expensive. I got a Minisforum MSSA156 for 179$. It came with a magnetic folding case, itβs 1440 144hz and itβs been incredible to use.
r/sffpc β’ Best Portable monitor for gaming in 2024? ->I have one. It feels like the usually Chinese electronics experience, good specs but not really... I think you'd be better off buying something from Taiwanese brands (Asus et.) Pros - well built - 144 hz - okayish picture quality - good glass quality Cons - doesn't feel truely 2k (icons and text go blurry and it's not hidpi scaling) - flimsy case - very clunky touchscreen experience (on Mac) - requires some color calibration (whites are off)
r/buildapc β’ Opinions on the MSS-A156 from Minis Forum? ->Itβs also touch screen and 165hz if used eith a usb c cable as display
