Generally the Nexdock's are regarded as the best with a few different variants although I think only the 15.6" XL can be ordered "new" at the moment (depending where you are) - The Nexdock 360 is a smaller variant but I've not seen stock for a while. These are both touchscreen. There are other variants made by uPerfect and Dopesplay which are generally regarded as inferior to the Nexdock although almost identical. Personally I've currently got a Nexdock 360 and a Dopesplay DR148 and aside from the DR148 being slightly larger I honestly see little to no quality difference.

Have you looked at Nexdock? My Nexdock 360 is all aluminum with a keyboard and trackpad. Screen is just ok, maybe similar to what you already tried, but materials and build is very solid.

My nexdock 360 has an awful track pad with built in gestures that are a pain to disable

For lapdocks, your choices are nexdock or uperfect No one else really makes them anymore Nexdock is slightly better than uperfect, but both are pretty good There is not a "premium" version in existence

Nexdock isn't shipping outside of the USA unfortunately. So I couldn't buy theirs.... I'm from Canada and they told me it was because of the tariffs... I ended up just making my own out of a laptop holder for your steering wheel in your work truck (also works on a table), and a monitor / keyboard setup But I really wouldn't mind the nexdock... Just really sucks the one time I want to get one, they don't ship to Canada lmao... And are you perfect one just had too many random quirks about it compared to the Nexdock That I decided against it The speakers are listed as less wattage on their website, It doesn't have auto rotate (and dex didn't support rotating your screen until the most recent beta build now on OneUi8?), The build quality was slightly less desirable, And it also has one less USB-C port which is a HUGE L for me

Well it is the market is too small for now. I have tried the new NexDock and it is very qualitative so I recommend. [www.mobile-only.com](http://www.mobile-only.com) The MiraBook was an attempt to create a high-end lapdock but starting from nothing is hard and market reality hits you in the face at some point.
