Tern Setups - 4K OLED Portable Monitor Setup

I’ve been using a 4K OLED portable monitor setup. It comes with a stand that attaches to the monitor with a magnet. I’ve yet to find anything close to this for the iPad. Here’s why I think portable monitor setups win (at least for me): 1. Size and price – the largest iPad is only 13 inches and is insanely expensive. You can get high-quality 4K OLED portable monitors for significantly less and portable monitors typically range from 15 to 17 inches (I prefer my monitor to be slightly bigger than my Mac). 2. Ergonomic setup – I feel this is not discussed enough. I often see people using second screens placed flat on the table, constantly switching between looking down at the screen and up at their laptop - good setup is at your eye level!! iPad doesn’t have a great solution for this. 3. Versatility – unlike iPad, portable monitors work with anything (Windows, Linux, Mac, your phone, iPad, etc.). I have two computers – work (Windows) and personal (Mac) – I can use my portable monitor solution for both when travelling. 4. Portable monitors work as docking stations - with usb-c power pass-through, I can charge my MacBook through the monitor while using it. 5. personally I don’t care about the Touch functionality the iPad offers. I just need a high-quality second screen for productivity.
