It is the Uperfect UGame C2 Pro - 2K 144Hz Gaming Monitor! Great little IPS second monitor if you don't have a whole lot of desk space like me. [https://uperfect.com/products/2k-144hz-gaming-monitor](https://uperfect.com/products/2k-144hz-gaming-monitor)

Love that monitor. It was so good it became my extra monitor for my computer. Now I use a Uperfect C2 Pro for my Ally and Steam Deck. These portable monitors are a game changer imo.

Just set up this monitor today. It's fine for what it is. I think it's using a matte finish on the screen. Other than that it's a decent secondary display next to my ultrawide.

I bought a similar one of these as a travel monitor for my xbox series s / work laptop if I need to to spreadsheet work. Impressed by it.

I don't have a PS5, but I use a 16" 1600p portable as one of my secondary displays. Something to keep in mind with the portable monitors is they're almost universally B-tier laptop panels shipped at max brightness settings with only volatile memory. They set them to run at max brightness by default and every time they're powered down they reset to default settings. I didn't realize that with my first one and burned it in within six months, this time I've got it set to stay powered and at half brightness. As long as you're mindful of the burn in risks it's not bad at all though, I bought the same exact uperfect display this time because despite the failure I genuinely like the panel, it has great pixel density and looks great.

I know a lot of people just say to get 1080p monitors, but I recommend a 2560x1600 or 2560x1440 monitor so you can just run games at the Deck's 1280x800 or 1280x720 resolutions and have it scale nicely. For brands, Azorpa and Uperfect seem to get recommended a bit if you're looking on Amazon. I have a 16" Uperfect 2560x1600 and it works great for me. I don't know exactly what you mean by small-ish.

I have one for traveling, 2.5k 16 inch ips with a hole in left bottom corner. Works very well for 2 years already, probably was on for 24/7 in 6 month totally. Sound is crap (expected), max brightness could be better but is ok, powered via same type-c that connects it to computer (but also has another one for additional power if need). Actually I am surprised it working so good for that price, so could recommend. edit: I have UPerfect one

I recommend getting one that is bright (>400 nits or check reviews). Some of them are super dim and basically unusable in daylight. I wasted money on one before. I'm currently using one from UPERFECT, 400 nits and its pretty decent. FWIW I recently did an analysis on reddit data on portable monitors. Basically ranked them by aggregated sentiment. Maybe you'll find the results helpful [https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/](https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/)

Make sure to get one that is bright (>400 nits or check reviews). A lot of them are unusable in daylight. I wasted money on one before. My wife and I have been using uperfect's monitors for the past 3 years while digital nomading and have been happy with them. The exact model is no longer available but i'd probably get the 2k uperfect near the top of [this list](https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/) (ranked by aggregated Reddit reviews, you can see breakdown of comments) when mine breaks. It has 400 nits and I like 2k resolution for making sure my eyes don't get tired reading blurry text.

I'd recommend getting one that is brighter. The one you linked is only 250cdm2 which is pretty low. I would look for something that either has >400 nits or have reviews saying its bright. A lot of portable monitors are unusable in daylight. I wasted money on one before. Unless you're always working in a dark room? FWIW my wife and I have been a digital nomad for 3 years and we've been using monitors from uperfect. We've been pretty happy with them so far. They're thin and bright and light enough to bring around. The exact models are no longer available though. But I recently did an analysis on reddit data on portable monitors, basically ranking them by aggregated sentiment - maybe you'll find the results helpful [https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/](https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/) I'm eyeing the 2k uperfect near the top of the list (for when my current one breaks). It has 400 nits and IME 2k resolution is the sweet spot for portable monitors. 2k is crisp enough so my eyes won't get tired reading blurry text. Anything higher is overkill for screens below 20 inches, plus you'll likely need to plug in an extra power cable. Its more expensive though so if you want something cheaper the Z1FC Arzopa at the top is on sale now on amazon i think and is at least 300cdm2 and has reviews saying its bright enough.
