Just realized, this may not be a K118, but another model they make? It doesn't have the leather cover. [This is the model ](https://www.ebay.com/itm/315884833890)
r/fpgagaming • Searching for a perfect portable MISTer FPGA monitor (other than that popular iPad screen) ->I use the UPerfect 18 (link below). This is currently on sale on Amazon US for $219 and its been great. Really good color coverage, very vast response time, is really is a great 18in monitor. Highly recommend it. r/ROGAlly • Anybody using this Portable Monitor? ->My unit has been pretty solid with no issues. I have just been using USB-C to the device to get the full 144hz. But HDMI with a USB-C power adaptor also works really well and still gets 120Hz
r/ROGAlly • Anybody using this Portable Monitor? ->I’ve had it for about a year I think. Runs a little warm. I usually leave it set to 6. It honestly looks great and I’ve been very happy with it.
r/ROGAlly • Anybody using this Portable Monitor? ->I got a uperfect 18” model. Same size as my laptop screen and super bright with decent colour rendition. Great for on the road stuff. Fits in laptop bag nicely as super slim. https://amzn.eu/d/38iNWw9
r/editors • Recommends for travel/folding/attachable monitors for MBP? ->I have the 18” uperfect 2k model for on-site editing. It’s a great screen with good colour rendition and brighter than my laptop screen. Highly recommend!
r/editors • Portable Monitor for editing? ->Yeah, I agree. I also have the K18 Uperfect 18 inch monitor. But the benefit of this new O2 monitor is that it is 3k. You can sit closer to the monitor to immersive yourself (lol). Compared to the K18 it is much sharper and smoother.
r/sffpc • Unboxing & Overview of the UPERFECT 16" 3K OLED 120Hz Portable Monitor – First of Its Kind! ->Yeah, the display quality and reliability can differ greatly between various models from the different brands. I've ordered really low quality displays from random aliexpress brands which had poor colors too, had to go through some trial and error to get the good ones. Sometimes it's about luck too... just whether you receive a good or bad lemon unit. I'm currently using an Arzopa 16" 1080p 144hz (Z1FC) portable monitor for my travel SFF PC setup and its been working well for the past 6+ months... good vibrant colors and fast response rate for gaming, no issues so far. I also have a Uperfect 18" 2K/1600p 144hz (B118) as a secondary display for my desktop system, and it works well too.
r/sffpc • Brand name portable monitor for gaming ->Yeah, I have a B118 which is 18" 2K/1600p 144Hz and it works well... only issue is it's too large to fit into my backpack with my SFF case, so I end up having to carry it separately in another bag. Hence I end up reverting back to my 16" portable monitor so it fits in the same bag. Most people shrink their cases ever smaller for portability, but the portable monitor display is still larger than the case so the bag needs to be large enough to fit it too.
r/sffpc • Unboxing & Overview of the UPERFECT 16" 3K OLED 120Hz Portable Monitor – First of Its Kind! ->https://preview.redd.it/zqvzfwu5ubbe1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=35b996927a9f479478b89b52b8d8e510a76f9191 I use my EM780 with a portable 18" 2k monitor, I use my own keyboard and mouse anyway, so the laptop form factor kinda sucks for me anyway. I rarely need to use my setup on battery power, but I carry a 20,000mha battery anyway, which will power it for 4 hours or so if needed, but doesn't really happen that often, EM780 is tiny but powerful and takes up next to no room. Overall, I much prefer this setup to my previous laptops and will be adding dual folding 18" screens soon, but it really depends on your use case. I am always set up for at least a day somewhere, so I don't need high portability, it would be annoying if I had to set it up multiple times per day on the go but typically I will use my galaxy fold to fill the gap. The EM780 lives inside of BMO with my cables when I'm on the go.
r/MiniPCs • Thoughts on using a mini PC + portable monitor instead of a laptop for a portable setup? ->Uperfect, I'm a fan of their stuff in general.
r/MiniPCs • Thoughts on using a mini PC + portable monitor instead of a laptop for a portable setup? ->Both uperfect monitors I've bought in the past came in uperfect branded boxes with uperfect papers, I've always ordered direct from uperfect or from an official uperfect store. Either way, the panel quality and specs have been what I ordered, so I don't really care. The 18inch 2k has been wonderful, I only wish I could get a dual screen version of this panel.
r/MiniPCs • Thoughts on using a mini PC + portable monitor instead of a laptop for a portable setup? ->Using Uperfect portable monitor ok naman sya yung 2K/144Hz binili ko sa Amazon last year kasi may discount sa Black Friday sale 10k naging 5k nalang hahaha dahil din sa bank offers na USD din ang discount. Check out Amazon mas marami silang portable monitors na higher refresh rate at screen resolution compared to Lazada/Shopee at the similar price. Tell me if you need suggestions I'll give you some link 🫡
r/PHGamers • Portable Monitor as Main Monitor ->Fantastic, thanks for posting this solution. I was searching for hours on a compatible stand for a 18" Uperfect portable monitor, and your solution fits the bill perfectly!
r/digitalnomad • lightweight travel setup for a secondary monitor ->Been thinking about this monitor but in the 18" variant. I had an older version of this screen and sent it back as the build quality was really bad, we're talking about 3 years ago. How are they now? Also would it looks right in 1080p? Thanks
r/ROGAllyX • Portable monitor for traveling ->I tried to use an ipad as a second monitor and just couldn't do it. Being smaller than my laptop, it just wasn't helping at all other than being at eye level (which I can just do with the laptop). I ended up buying the UPERFECT 18 inch portable monitor. It's just the right size not too heavy and big enough to not lose productivity against my usual monitor. As for stands, so the UPERFECT portable monitor has an in built stand. But what I do is I prop it up on my Roost Laptop stand. So it's almost exactly eye level. And the roost stand is super light so amazing for travel. Highly recommend using a laptop stand. I considered a specifically "portable monitor stand" but they looked pricey and heavy. So glad I did this instead If you want I can take a photo tomorrow to show what I do. Also as someone else was saying, you really have to just try it yourself. I taped paper on my monitor to test if I could work with a 13 inch screen. Spoke to friends. The solution I ended with (and am super happy with) was not at all what I thought I'd do when I started thinking about it
r/digitalnomad • occasional nomading - portable monitor or ipad pro ->I wish I had the cash for one of the Duoone I instead just got a single 2k 144 monitor from Uperfect. For a quarter of the price. But it's not a nice of course.
r/eGPU • Portable dual 4k monitors ->Fwiw I recently did an [analysis aggregating reviews from reddit](https://redditrecs.com/portablemonitors/?subm_id=1eekvui) and this one (Z1FC) came as 2nd place. 1st place went to a uperfect 2k 120hz (i think the model is c2?) Personally i'd go for the uperfect because its 400 nits and a lot of these portable monitors are not very bright. I bought one random chinese one before without paying attention to the brightness and it was unusable in daylight.
r/LegionGo • Is this good portable monitor ? Anyone have it? ->Make sure to get one that is bright (>400 nits or check reviews). A lot of them are unusable in daylight. I wasted money on one before. My wife and I have been using uperfect's monitors for the past 3 years while digital nomading and have been happy with them. The exact model is no longer available but i'd probably get the 2k uperfect near the top of [this list](https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/) (ranked by aggregated Reddit reviews, you can see breakdown of comments) when mine breaks. It has 400 nits and I like 2k resolution for making sure my eyes don't get tired reading blurry text.
r/macbook • Which portable screen extender to buy for my Mac pro? ->I won’t go for 4k. It’s an overkill for portable monitors smaller than 19in. It may not be able to be powered by just a USBc from your MacBook too. What’s more important is to get one that is bright (>400 nits or check reviews). A lot of them are unusable in daylight. I wasted money on one before. My wife and I have been using uperfect's monitors for the past 3 years while digital nomading and have been happy with them. The exact model is no longer available but i'd probably get the 2k uperfect on this list based on aggregated reddit reviews https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/
r/macbookair • Does anyone have one of those 4k portable monitors for travel? ->I recently did an analysis on reddit data on portable monitors. If you're looking for something tried and tested i'd probably go for one of the ones at the top [https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/](https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/) A key thing to look out for is to get one that is bright (>400 nits or check reviews). A lot of them are unusable in daylight. I wasted money on one before. Fwiw my wife and I have been using uperfect's monitors for the past 3 years while digital nomading and have been happy with them. The exact models are no longer available but i'd probably get the 2k uperfect one near the top of that list if mine breaks. It has 400 nits and the 2k resolution is great for making sure my eyes don't get tired reading blurry text.
r/Monitors • What reputable portable monitor should I get? Specifically for a laptop ->I recently did an analysis on reddit data on portable monitors. If you're looking for something tried and tested i'd probably go for one of the ones at the top https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/ A key thing to look out for is to get one that is bright (>400 nits or check reviews). r/digitalnomad • Best portable monitors for travel setups? ->You should be able to get a good one for plenty less than $1k. But make sure to get one that is bright (>400 nits or check reviews). A lot of them are unusable in daylight. I wasted money on one before. My wife and I have been using uperfect's monitors for the past 3-4 years while digital nomading and have been happy with them. The exact model is no longer available but i'd probably get the 2k uperfect ranked near the top of [this list](https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/) (ranked by reddit reviews) if mine breaks. It has 400 nits and the 2k resolution is great for making sure my eyes don't get tired reading blurry text.
r/editors • Recommends for travel/folding/attachable monitors for MBP? ->I'd recommend getting one that is brighter. The one you linked is only 250cdm2 which is pretty low. I would look for something that either has >400 nits or have reviews saying its bright. A lot of portable monitors are unusable in daylight. I wasted money on one before. Unless you're always working in a dark room? FWIW my wife and I have been a digital nomad for 3 years and we've been using monitors from uperfect. We've been pretty happy with them so far. They're thin and bright and light enough to bring around. The exact models are no longer available though. But I recently did an analysis on reddit data on portable monitors, basically ranking them by aggregated sentiment - maybe you'll find the results helpful [https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/](https://redditrecs.com/portable-monitor/) I'm eyeing the 2k uperfect near the top of the list (for when my current one breaks). It has 400 nits and IME 2k resolution is the sweet spot for portable monitors. 2k is crisp enough so my eyes won't get tired reading blurry text. Anything higher is overkill for screens below 20 inches, plus you'll likely need to plug in an extra power cable. Its more expensive though so if you want something cheaper the Z1FC Arzopa at the top is on sale now on amazon i think and is at least 300cdm2 and has reviews saying its bright enough.
r/digitalnomad • Traditional Monitor vs. Portable Monitor ->I have the uperfect 120hz 2k. Had to buy a stand for it. Kind of fun with the steam deck
r/buildapcsales • [Monitor] FANGOR Portable IPS Monitor, 15.6" FHD 1080P: $49.99 ->it cant do 120 over mini hdmi? i have the 2k IPS version of this monitor from uperfect and it does 2k just fine, is the extra 1k really that much more taxing?
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->Im probably going to buy one myself. I have the ips variant from uperfect and I love everything except for the motion ghosting, so an OLED thats basically the same otherwise is huge for me. Plus im seeing t hem for 200$ which is kindof a bargain
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->how is it treating you? i have a 2k IPS from uperfect that i really like, so im wondering if this is worth the upgrade from ips
r/OLED_Gaming • Unboxing & Overview of the UPERFECT 16" 3K OLED 120Hz Portable Monitor – First of Its Kind! ->I ended up going with this one from uperfect. It’s pretty good and honestly overkill for the ally x. If I was buying today I would probably get the 2k one instead. Both are able to run off a single usbc with no power cable I’m pretty sure https://a.co/d/0581bfI
r/ROGAllyX • Portable monitor recommendations ->I recommend the UPEFECT. I use mine for my ROG Ally and Samsung Dex setups.
r/ROGAlly • Have you bought a Portable OLED monitor? 4k, 3k, 1080p? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
