"The fact that I can use it anywhere and in the army right now with my laptop and steam deck (which I can achieve 120fps on some games with lower res) is like a dream come true to me."
"Honestly, cheapest way to get a full OLED panel at 100-120 hz, as the next step up is 700, or ~550 on the used market. Very nice entry point.. and portable as well. ... the price is shockingly decent"
"Yes I gamed. No to any eye strain or flickering. ... its quite good. ... you'll be hitting the 100 or 120 (with usb c) fps maximum quite easily in most games. ... Its an OLED, and it feels good to play on it because of its inherent advantages over other screen types. ... it games fine for its intended purpose ( 100-120 fps OLED at 3k."

"It just looks spectacular right out of the box ... Part of it is the MUCH better contrast ... Part of it is the O2 panel has MUCH better color reproduction ... Reds really pop on the oled in a way they don't on the lcd ... oled > lcd pretty much every day of the week."
"Its an oled. Inky blacks, great color and response time."

"It works amazing w/ 1 cable"
"Runs 144 on one USBC cable."
"Both USB C ports can be used for either supplying power to the monitor and to cast video. ... A cool extra: if you use external power to supply the monitor (ie you don't just use one USB C connection, which it supports), your laptop/rog ally/steam deck/phone will charge while connected to the monitor."

"the monitor can't do VRR whatsoever."
"IT DOESN'T SUPPORT GSYNC OR VRR ... you have to maintain at least 30-60fps to have a smooth gameplay"
"HDMI mini doesn't support enough bandwidth, so its throttled to 100 hz on full display resolution. over an HDMI mini input ... yeah i think their receiving end is probably hdmi 2.0 instead of 2.1. ... The included cable doesn’t support it when plugged in, and the description says so too."

"it would have a black flicker with the hdmi cable and the usbc cable with steam deck did the same"
"Mines nice when it works but it does flicker at times, worse when powering on and starting then it seems to stablise but now and then theres a screen flicker as in image drops to black briefly which is annoying af. ... It’s just the persistent flicker is horrid. ... PC black screen flickers with HDMI and steam deck flickers with usbc."
"3 months of constant use and the screen blackout on me. ... others have similar complaints of durration so i'd say no ... was playing rivals then suddenly the monitor turned off. after unplugging it waiting a while i was able to power it but the display won't show nor light up but the sound is working. ... looking into this there have been numerous complaints about the longevity of the device. ... FUCK NO, GO OLED! just not this one"

"The one main thing it does NOT have, is a battery. ... A samsung phone is not capable of powering this display. ... You will need external battery to make this monitor work for DeX. ... To be fair, the Steam Deck can't power the display either... ... The downside of course is that it lacks a battery, and if you want to use it in the coffee shop, you NEED a battery, a power outlet, or a TB4 device, rather than just your DeX device :("
"It will power it on at a low brightness (20% or lower) but does not have enough power through the thunderbolt for any decent amount of brightness."
"Because anything below that 40w will make the monitor glitchy and you will not be able to achieve 120hz at native res ... Just as long as you take into account that you have to use your own 40w+ power adapter and not the one that came with this monitor"
