I recently got this monitor too. I’m able to get 120hz to work on hdmi on my ps5 and series X.
r/OLED_Gaming • Just ordered for $260.00. Anything I should know? ->It’s 0 latency. It’s a monitor.
r/OLED_Gaming • Just ordered for $260.00. Anything I should know? ->i bought hdmi m to hdmi using a 4k cord and it works fine. full 120 on rivals on the p5
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->I did find it on sale at Newegg currently, so going to order it to see how it works out. Really wish it was 4K but it checks all the other boxes so it comes the closest. Thanks.
r/OLED_Gaming • Portable Monitor for PS5 ->I have the one non touch screen and it’s really good 120HZ
r/ROGAllyX • Anyone got experience with the UPERFECT 16 inch 3K OLED Touchscreen portable monitor with the Ally X? is it worth it, or just save more for a eGPU to attach to my 77 inch OLED TV downstairs? ->Yeah, I agree. I also have the K18 Uperfect 18 inch monitor. But the benefit of this new O2 monitor is that it is 3k. You can sit closer to the monitor to immersive yourself (lol). Compared to the K18 it is much sharper and smoother.
r/sffpc • Unboxing & Overview of the UPERFECT 16" 3K OLED 120Hz Portable Monitor – First of Its Kind! ->I use the Uperferct O2 monitor also with my Galaxy Fold 6 (in Dex mode). In Dex the resolution is set to 2560x1600 60hz. 2560x1440 looks bad but 2560x1600 looks surprisingly good, it is like native. The phone is also getting power from the monitor the other way around does not work. I tried lowering the brightness of the O2 monitor to zero but the monitor will not power on with only my Fold 6 connected, keep in mind that you need a external power source to use the Samsung Dex setup with this monitor. Other portable monitors worked fine with low brightness powering it from only the phone. Dex has so much potential, if only Samsung let us use more resolutions and higer refresh rate...
r/sffpc • Unboxing & Overview of the UPERFECT 16" 3K OLED 120Hz Portable Monitor – First of Its Kind! ->I think that this new release (O2 Uperfect oled) is worth it. I am for 90 procent sure that they are using the same panel as in the Asus G16 oled gaming laptop. Go have a look at that laptop. If you like the screen of the G16 you definitely will like this monitor
r/sffpc • Unboxing & Overview of the UPERFECT 16" 3K OLED 120Hz Portable Monitor – First of Its Kind! ->The mate IPS version I use in daytime for work. When the sun goes under I pull out the Oled hahah
r/sffpc • Unboxing & Overview of the UPERFECT 16" 3K OLED 120Hz Portable Monitor – First of Its Kind! ->I bought essentially the same spec as the O2 from Uperfect. It was wonky so I sent it back and they sent me something that appears to be nicer. I suspected they were selling O2 “seconds” through other retailers. By chance, I ran into someone with an O2 and was able to compare: they were identical save for the issues I faced (I can’t remember if the one I ordered had the buttons labeled but that seemed new to me when I ultimately received a replacement unit. I have a post on the Uperfect sub about it. They assured me the monitor I ordered and the O2 are identical EXCEPT for how the screen or display is constructed. So basically they are the same to the eye 🤷♂️ I’m still unsure if I’ve received an O2 or the one I first bought as nothing is labeled the the model number. The packaging was different, this new one came with VESA screws, diff box, etc. I’m about to watch your vid again and check the packaging out!
r/OLED_Gaming • Unboxing & Overview of the UPERFECT 16" 3K OLED 120Hz Portable Monitor – First of Its Kind! ->Mines nice when it works but it does flicker at times, worse when powering on and starting then it seems to stablise but now and then theres a screen flicker as in image drops to black briefly which is annoying af. HDR looks pretty yuck imo but I've not calibrated it either. Would be 100% happy with it if the usb port wasn't loose or something causing the flicker :(
r/SamsungDex • UPERFECT 3k O2 OLED monitor review ->Haha fair enough, mine wakes from sleep but after extensive testing I’ve gotta send this one back. It’s a shame cause the panel itself is decent, HDR was a bit chite but acceptable. It’s just the persistent flicker is horrid. PC black screen flickers with HDMI and steam deck flickers with usbc. HP laptop works though with both connections. Maybe it’s just not good for AMD graphics whereas the laptop is Intel. I have an nvidia card coming so can test that too.
r/SamsungDex • UPERFECT 3k O2 OLED monitor review ->I like my nexpad for an external monitor Also currently testing the uperfect o2 oled. It's a very similar resolution to the surface pro
r/Surface • What portable monitor do you recommend for a surface laptop 7 ->As always, not real journalists, but we strive to be accurate, and fair, while looking at products from a DeX perspective. Other similar portable ecosystems will creep in from time to time (Steam Deck, Surface pro, etc) but concerns raised will generally be from a DeX perspective. As always, no money has changed hands, and company providing the review samples has no input on the review, as they will see it as it's released, same as everyone else. So let's get down to it! \[UColor O2 Touch - 16:10 Monitor 16 Inch Portable 3K OLED Dislpay 120Hz Touchscreen\](https://www.uperfectmonitor.com/products/16-inch-3k-oled-120hz-monitor?\_pos=1&\_sid=dda4ee2e1&\_ss=r&sca\_ref=5101392.S1lwRXEetd) [UPERFECT UColor O2](https://preview.redd.it/wy5m8lc92uae1.png?width=574&format=png&auto=webp&s=320460883dd4f03617a255d01c7913fb8a92a8de) The O2 is a 2880x1800 120hz OLED panel from UPERFECT. It's a 16" panel that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour palette, is touchscreen, and has a pair of rear firing stereo speakers. The speakers are rated at 8 ohm at 1W (aka they're usable, but you'll want headphones) The one main thing it does NOT have, is a battery. More on this later... The panel itself is very slim, and light. Dimensionally it's roughly 3.5mm thick at the top, and the bump out at the bottom is about 6.5mm thick. The folding screen cover/case/stand adds MAYBE 1mm total. The physical dimensions are 354 × 242 × 6.5 mm (13.94 × 9.53 × 0.26 inch) Quick Size comparison between previous UPERFECT panels we've reviewed in the last couple years: [14\\" X lite, 15.6\\" V, 16\\" O2](https://preview.redd.it/d0wanppr3uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=da39adfd8de5295a6e6896a768dbe15038c417f1) On the left was the weird little \[UPERFECT 14" X lite\]([UPERFECT X Lite review : r/SamsungDex](https://www.reddit.com/r/SamsungDex/comments/qt7tnj/uperfect_x_lite_review/)). This was actually my day to day secondary monitor on my Surface Pro roll top desk. The screen is non-touch, but Matte, and was actually one of the better panels UPERFECT ever produced. In the middle is the \[UPERFECT 15.6" V\]([UPERFECT V 15.6" wireless monitor Review : r/SamsungDex](https://www.reddit.com/r/SamsungDex/comments/11u2yiq/uperfect_v_156_wireless_monitor_review/)). On the right, is the new \[UPERFECT 16" O2\](https://www.uperfectmonitor.com/products/16-inch-3k-oled-120hz-monitor?\_pos=1&\_sid=dda4ee2e1&\_ss=r&sca\_ref=5101392.S1lwRXEetd). The new O2 comes with 2 × Full-Featured USB Type-C for Audio & Video Input, 1 × mini HDMI for Audio & Video Input (seems to be HDMI 2.0). Contrast ratio of 10,000:1 (yay oled), 1ms response time, and 500 nits of brightness. the 16:10 2880x1800 isn't 100% supported in DeX, but it's close! https://preview.redd.it/5h0kpowb5uae1.jpg?width=1460&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d5797d48a5d7fecb158f91c9cafcdff61f21c841 The 2560x1600 looks great on this panel, no extra black bars. it'd be nice to have it support the actual native resolution, but it's still pretty good. Windows and linux (steamOS) will both happily put out the 2880x1600 at 120hz But what about Image quality ? I connected the O2 as well as the other 2 monitors (1 at a time) each to a port on my surface pro, so that I could mirror the same content to both monitors at the same time I simply selected some youtube HDR test videos, and captured the following: This is the 15.6" V vs the 16" O2 https://preview.redd.it/4pspmqbw5uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=64c3c73f582b2df638f5ca88f361031aa8238fe0 https://preview.redd.it/eu8l88tx5uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d49839389c49d95b17b219875915feab1e79ab98 https://preview.redd.it/4tkux8xy5uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e49c82c4470eeb99a1006fdb06fbc1c2a10e3436 https://preview.redd.it/9vbhe8906uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d8c6266b0529a90fcd60e4a6d4b1ef441d12d97e Now the weird little 14" X Lite vs the 16" OLED O2 https://preview.redd.it/fjh8ll356uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d6a02bf9e10a136ef3bcfb893265e6201f77625e https://preview.redd.it/he64usx56uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be3b623d4984a96b70a5d674a949133f89bd6774 https://preview.redd.it/q5cl5lp66uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=526a204f903dbb86934cb4dba34c5ece19785386 https://preview.redd.it/xt44uhp76uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=836bd6ed3b280f95dda68ea1e12a6643bdf945d5 https://preview.redd.it/gcq7ssxa6uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=29552938cb214b5117b002d28f9bc7ed432e0cc7 All of these, were with a single usb-c cable from the surface, via tb4 to the X lite, or O2 # So now on to the disappointing bit: A samsung phone is not capable of powering this display. You will need external battery to make this monitor work for DeX. To be fair, the Steam Deck can't power the display either... Surface Pro 8 (or newer) with it's TB4 ports is happy to power it with a single cable though With DeX connected, and external power (a 45w PD charger that came with a lapdock) it does pass thru power to the phone at a good rate: https://preview.redd.it/er0iwpge7uae1.jpg?width=815&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=594b1d45d52bf759d17ec33158efb147ca16049a I'm still waiting for my USB-C power meter to arrive, but in general, the DeX setup consumes 6w of power during a relatively dark scene, and up to 8w during a brightly lit scene. This includes powering the screen, and charging the phone all at the same time. the 2w difference between light and dark scenes was very consistent, but this relies on the rough measurements provided by jackery ;) https://preview.redd.it/doqgngk78uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cb0f06f0528983188ca39d17706d3f7764264c02 I'll revisit this once the actual meter finally arrives (hooray postal strike backlog!) # The Controls On the left side of the screen are 5 physical buttons for interacting with the OSD https://preview.redd.it/b1le6nmo8uae1.png?width=350&format=png&auto=webp&s=b1771ea545d3379362c75fd2860775e6a8383e55 The top button is the power toggle, while the other 4 are used for moving thru the menus. You ARE able to toggle between the HDMI and the USB-C inputs, so you can technically use it for 2 different devices, at the same time. IE you've got your work machine connected via USB-C, and then during your break, and only your break, you toggle to HDMI so that you can play some PS5. I've actually not fiddled a ton with the settings within, aside from flipping HDR to auto mode. It just looks spectacular right out of the box Now while the O2 did come with a nice screen cover, that doubles as a stand, it's pretty soft, and flimsy, and while it works in a pinch, I'd not want to use it daily, if that makes sense. Uperfect was nice enough to also send along a VESA monitor stand, that works with the O2. The O2 is compatible with all 75x75mm vesa standards https://preview.redd.it/0cf22p1n9uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aff6bcfbd053315990201d97c36dbdd989236480 The stand itself is VERY heavy, yet folds flat https://preview.redd.it/y1i8dopt9uae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c477b1b151acd1a4dd640836f09957c920bcd8a7 It requires a LOT of force to move it into position, but once it's there, it's not moving. Ever https://preview.redd.it/d46q8qchauae1.jpg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c7babd2866291e8a15377630c27abf79a698c05 If you've got limited space (like I do) for a secondary monitor, this is a beautiful panel. If you need a portable monitor to carry for work (where you KNOW you'll have a desk/power) I'd highly recommend it. It's by far the best portable monitor I've had my hands on. The downside of course is that it lacks a battery, and if you want to use it in the coffee shop, you NEED a battery, a power outlet, or a TB4 device, rather than just your DeX device :( # Conclusion: If you're in the market for a smaller, stay at home monitor, this is a fantastic choice. It does come with a pretty big price tag though. At the time of this review, it's listed at $399 CAD, reduced from $630 CAD. I don't love the price UPERFECT has included a couple of coupon codes tho that we can use: **Brad40**, 40USD off for order amount above 200USD **Brad50**, 50USD off for order amount above 300USD Thoughts? Anything I missed?
r/SamsungDex • UPERFECT 3k O2 OLED monitor review ->> Is that you're take as well? well, no not really I mean, if you're just crushing spreadsheets, then you probably don't need to spend the premium that an OLED panel has, over a regular LCD panel. if that's what they mean, then sure like a 165hz panel is also probably overkill for emails, when 60hz will be just fine This is a pretty nice little panel tho. I used that 14" X Lite for 3ish years, and I was really satisfied with it. This absolutely annhilates it, and it's an easy choice to switch to it
r/SamsungDex • UPERFECT 3k O2 OLED monitor review ->It’s an amazing product! I’ll do an official follow up soon. But well worth the money. I’m amazed every time I look at it! I’m getting locked 100 fps with Rog ally and 6850m xg mobile on 3k with most games, some without frame generation. This monitor can you give the ultimate portable nerd setup.
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->so with a bidirectional DP to USB-C cable I can get 1800p 120Hz, but I get fine vertical lines in darker parts. Maybe because 1800p 120HZ only supports 8 Bit + Dithering while 1800p 100 Hz or 1600p 120Hz run in 10 Bit. But at 100Hz it doesn't have those lines at 8 Bit, so maybe it's a bandwidth limitation? Couldn't find a way to fix this and not many are running this at 1800p 120Hz I guess.
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->1. don't have a Series S, but 120 Hz 1440p and 1080p works on PC. 2560 and 1920 don't scale evenly from 2880, though. It still looks decent imo. 2. the monitor can't do VRR whatsoever. 3. maybe sit closer to it.
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->I use DP to USB-C, but 1440p and 1080p 120Hz are within the HDMI 2.0 spec which the monitor uses (1800p 120Hz requires more bandwidth). EDIT: just tested it 1440p and 1080p work at 120Hz. But limited to 8 Bit + Dithering and no 10 Bit.
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->I got the uperfect 3k OLED one for travel and it’s honestly pretty good. Not as good as my LG C3 obviously but pretty good
r/OLED_Gaming • Are these cheap chinese OLED monitor worth a damn? ->16:10 is because this is a laptop display, and all of those OLED laptops are 16:10 - so way cheaper to source. I quite like 16:10 actually - for productivity it makes sense to have more height. For games it also matters little, only when watching series and movies perhaps, but even those often have wonky or custom aspect ratios (like 4:3 or 2.35:1).

r/sffpc • Portable Monitor as a second display? ->I bought the non touch model a few weeks ago, i use a flip vesa stand so i can get it up close to my face, so size wasnt a problem anymore. At full native resolution it's limited to 100hz but windows does offer 120hz but it will downscale the res to 1800p, still super sharp
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->My pc is a HP Spectre x360. The Uperfect screen is less glossy and reflects less light. This is only from my experience, not tested at all
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->For most cases, I believe you can. I am able to do that with my Rog Ally X and my pc (HP Spectre) using only USB C (the ones that come with the monitor). However, with my Samsung S22 Ultra, I need external power supply, propably because the battery isnt strong enough. (you can also supply the monitor with powerbanks, if they have enough power output)
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->Side note: make sure to use USB C thunderbolt. I think that only these can cast video as well
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->I have this monitor since last week. Both USB C ports can be used for either supplying power to the monitor and to cast video. A cool extra: if you use external power to supply the monitor (ie you don't just use one USB C connection, which it supports), your laptop/rog ally/steam deck/phone will charge while connected to the monitor. Hope this helps!

r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->I have this one, it DOES NOT HAVE VRR, but if you have good gpu, and enable vsync and maintain at least 60 fps, it's butter smooth.
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->You can use an adapter like me hdmi or dp to thunderbolt bidirectional on Amazon. This is the best portable gaming monitor. I got used on ebay for $153.
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->3k 16 inch is 212ppi, after 140ppi oled in games I can't tell the difference, but text is razer sharp.
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->seems so. The handful of reviews I've watched that had issues were the touch version and required additional power to function correctly (problems would occur with single usb-c cable)
r/SamsungDex • UPERFECT 3k O2 OLED monitor review ->Picked this up via Amazon for 280 with one day shipping. Oled looks nice tho hdr color needs to be adjusted big time. Currently have it set to off. So far I have only hooked up a xbox series s which displays at 1440 at 120hz. Looks good, smooth. Unable to enable vrr through monitor settings or on the xbox. Wish I still had a ps5 to fool around with. I may fool around with my anbernic rg556 tomorrow. Overall, it's a nice portable monitor for casual gaming. Gonna start dragon quest 3 remake soon, so should look good. I don't play shooters so no comment. I do wish vrr was available but have yet to do real testing. For being oled I think it's worth it for under 300 bucks.
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->So, I managed to snag this thing for 250 with a coupon on amazon, and I honestly was wondering if I were to get scammed. Nope. Its a nice 16" OLED portable display. They had a little bit of later shipping at the time, but arrived on the date they claimed. The main website has a 400$ listing price, but its currently 300 on amazon us with a 25$ coupon lowering it to 275 + tax. Very thin. Very light. Bigger than I expected, as I forgot 16" is full laptop sized display. I've got 4k 60 Asus Pro Art display and a 4k 120 LG OLED TV. Normally hdmi is fine... but HDMI mini doesn't support enough bandwidth, so its throttled to 100 hz on full display resolution. over an HDMI mini input This portable display uses USB C for power, and optionally for display input. Needs display over USB-C to achieve full 120 hz. I don't have fancy tools for measuring display luminance, blur, etc. Naked eye impressions though? Its fine. Its an oled. Inky blacks, great color and response time. It doesn't have main panel anti burn in techs as far as I can tell, but I don't for see this being a huge issue, especially at this price. Honestly, cheapest way to get a full OLED panel at 100-120 hz, as the next step up is 700, or \~550 on the used market. Very nice entry point.. and portable as well. Came with enough cables for short range use with portables, but I honestly recommend buying longer ones for moving around when connected to desktops. I don't expect many people to see this review, but those of you that do... oh its a nice extra option. Its a nice "little" (full laptop size) display to supplement your options.
r/OLED_Gaming • Uperfect O2 3k 120 hz 16" Portable Monitor impressions / mini review ->More like lambo on a strict 60 mph highway. Enough for daily traffic, but not enough to race / game. . . and I own a Uperfect O2! … Ok I lied. I own two.
r/OLED_Gaming • Are these cheap chinese OLED monitor worth a damn? ->Nice. I had the 16" miniled versions from TaoBao. Both died within a year unfortunately. Picked up the newly released 16" OLED 120hz portable monitor (2880x1800) for $210 via AliExpress & haven't looked back. It works amazing w/ 1 cable & supports freesync/gsync (even though it says it doesn't). Glass panel also helps when packing it for travel.
r/sffpc • 18" QHD mini-led 300hz 1250 nits portable monitor - endgame portability (before oled catches up) ->Hi, I have that 3k OLED monitor here, and honestly couldn’t ask for anything more. It does come with 2 included USB 3.2 type c cables, that you can use on your Ally for display input, as I do with my steam deck and laptop. As for your 6850 I’m not sure, the hdmi only supports 100hz at native, so you might wanna get a DP to USB-C to achieve that 120hz. As for the monitor, I’m not even noticing screen tearing at above 100fps, and having an OLED with 120hz at that price is amazing, I was shocked at the quality and contrast since I haven’t used OLEDs before really except the nintendo switch. Got it cuz my laptop’s display broke and didn’t wanna send it to repair since it’s not under warranty. I do have an Odyssey G7 at home which is amazing, but nothing rivals the quality of OLED in my opinion, and I don’t really care for the lack of G-Sync. The fact that I can use it anywhere and in the army right now with my laptop and steam deck (which I can achieve 120fps on some games with lower res) is like a dream come true to me. Just make sure that you use a power adapter that’s strong enough, I would suggest 40w as a minimum but I personally use the spare 100w charging brick that came with my ROG laptop. (Because anything below that 40w will make the monitor glitchy and you will not be able to achieve 120hz at native res) Just as long as you take into account that you have to use your own 40w+ power adapter and not the one that came with this monitor, you honestly can’t be disappointed much in my opinion, also the 3K is a huge plus especially for watching 4k content and movies.

They won't ship to my state any more, which is very odd.
r/steamdeckhq • Anyone use a portable monitor with their steam deck? ->I haven't tried, so my advice is null. I think there's more value then a separate portable monitor that has a built in stand. Bonus if the stand supports a vertical orientation. I picked up a Uperfect 16 inch monitor recently and it's been awesome. Runs 144 on one USBC cable. Also I find with a separate keyboard and mouse I can vertical stack them.
r/framework • Has anyone tried those clip on portable monitors on the Framework 13 (with 4.0kg hinge)? ->I have a uperfect monitor as well , a 16inch , yeah there's a slight color wash , but hey I don't need the second monitor for anything color accurate or anything so it's perfectly fine . Once I build my next set up , planning to go full modular and portable , a uperfect delta + the current portable monitor . As a person who hates travel and stuff but forced to this portable monitors are life changers . No laptop is gonna cut for the work I do so there's that
