UPERFECT - UColor O2 Touch

I did find it on sale at Newegg currently, so going to order it to see how it works out. Really wish it was 4K but it checks all the other boxes so it comes the closest. Thanks.

i got the Uperfect 3k Oled Touchscreen one i will get it tomorrow, i bought it on Blackfriday for 180$ each i got 2 for 360$ on Aliexpress hope its good 3k Oled compared with the new hopeful Oled LegionGO combo should be pretty sick

The aliexpress touch version seems to be having lots of issues with people's type c ports not workin for audio video output and only mini hdmi works I have the same issue. Apprently uperfect is aware of this and is recalling them all. So unless they gave a fix, you might order a lemon

I recently got this monitor too. I’m able to get 120hz to work on hdmi on my ps5 and series X.

It’s 0 latency. It’s a monitor.

i bought hdmi m to hdmi using a 4k cord and it works fine. full 120 on rivals on the p5

3 months of constant use and the screen blackout on me. others have similar complaints of durration so i'd say no

Yeah, I agree. I also have the K18 Uperfect 18 inch monitor. But the benefit of this new O2 monitor is that it is 3k. You can sit closer to the monitor to immersive yourself (lol). Compared to the K18 it is much sharper and smoother.

I use the Uperferct O2 monitor also with my Galaxy Fold 6 (in Dex mode). In Dex the resolution is set to 2560x1600 60hz. 2560x1440 looks bad but 2560x1600 looks surprisingly good, it is like native. The phone is also getting power from the monitor the other way around does not work. I tried lowering the brightness of the O2 monitor to zero but the monitor will not power on with only my Fold 6 connected, keep in mind that you need a external power source to use the Samsung Dex setup with this monitor. Other portable monitors worked fine with low brightness powering it from only the phone. Dex has so much potential, if only Samsung let us use more resolutions and higer refresh rate...

I think that this new release (O2 Uperfect oled) is worth it. I am for 90 procent sure that they are using the same panel as in the Asus G16 oled gaming laptop. Go have a look at that laptop. If you like the screen of the G16 you definitely will like this monitor

The mate IPS version I use in daytime for work. When the sun goes under I pull out the Oled hahah

I bought essentially the same spec as the O2 from Uperfect. It was wonky so I sent it back and they sent me something that appears to be nicer. I suspected they were selling O2 “seconds” through other retailers. By chance, I ran into someone with an O2 and was able to compare: they were identical save for the issues I faced (I can’t remember if the one I ordered had the buttons labeled but that seemed new to me when I ultimately received a replacement unit. I have a post on the Uperfect sub about it. They assured me the monitor I ordered and the O2 are identical EXCEPT for how the screen or display is constructed. So basically they are the same to the eye 🤷‍♂️ I’m still unsure if I’ve received an O2 or the one I first bought as nothing is labeled the the model number. The packaging was different, this new one came with VESA screws, diff box, etc. I’m about to watch your vid again and check the packaging out!

For anyone considering **Uperfect O2** instead of a miniLED -- don't. I have it, and compared to **BOE NE160QDM-NM4** (Asus Flow X16 2023) it looks pretty bad. There's a new OLED panel in mass production rn - ATNA60HU01-0, 2k 240hz 500nit. Currently being shipped only within Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 to my knowledge. This one looks like a good OLED contender for this usecase.

I like my nexpad for an external monitor Also currently testing the uperfect o2 oled. It's a very similar resolution to the surface pro

It’s an amazing product! I’ll do an official follow up soon. But well worth the money. I’m amazed every time I look at it! I’m getting locked 100 fps with Rog ally and 6850m xg mobile on 3k with most games, some without frame generation. This monitor can you give the ultimate portable nerd setup.

so with a bidirectional DP to USB-C cable I can get 1800p 120Hz, but I get fine vertical lines in darker parts. Maybe because 1800p 120HZ only supports 8 Bit + Dithering while 1800p 100 Hz or 1600p 120Hz run in 10 Bit. But at 100Hz it doesn't have those lines at 8 Bit, so maybe it's a bandwidth limitation? Couldn't find a way to fix this and not many are running this at 1800p 120Hz I guess.

1. don't have a Series S, but 120 Hz 1440p and 1080p works on PC. 2560 and 1920 don't scale evenly from 2880, though. It still looks decent imo. 2. the monitor can't do VRR whatsoever. 3. maybe sit closer to it.

I use DP to USB-C, but 1440p and 1080p 120Hz are within the HDMI 2.0 spec which the monitor uses (1800p 120Hz requires more bandwidth). EDIT: just tested it 1440p and 1080p work at 120Hz. But limited to 8 Bit + Dithering and no 10 Bit.

I got the uperfect 3k OLED one for travel and it’s honestly pretty good. Not as good as my LG C3 obviously but pretty good

16:10 is because this is a laptop display, and all of those OLED laptops are 16:10 - so way cheaper to source. I quite like 16:10 actually - for productivity it makes sense to have more height. For games it also matters little, only when watching series and movies perhaps, but even those often have wonky or custom aspect ratios (like 4:3 or 2.35:1).

I have the uperfect 120hz 3k one is fantastic. It's normally cheaper if u order it from there website. Just double check tho

I have their 16" 3K 120 and also 13" 4k 60. The 16" is a great all-rounder

My pc is a HP Spectre x360. The Uperfect screen is less glossy and reflects less light. This is only from my experience, not tested at all

For most cases, I believe you can. I am able to do that with my Rog Ally X and my pc (HP Spectre) using only USB C (the ones that come with the monitor). However, with my Samsung S22 Ultra, I need external power supply, propably because the battery isnt strong enough. (you can also supply the monitor with powerbanks, if they have enough power output)

Side note: make sure to use USB C thunderbolt. I think that only these can cast video as well

I have this monitor since last week. Both USB C ports can be used for either supplying power to the monitor and to cast video. A cool extra: if you use external power to supply the monitor (ie you don't just use one USB C connection, which it supports), your laptop/rog ally/steam deck/phone will charge while connected to the monitor. I use a 16 inch Uperfect OLED for work and it's pretty solid. I bought it to replace a cheap no name monitor from Amazon. Uperfect sells their monitors open box and refurbished on eBay for very reasonable prices.

IT DOESN'T SUPPORT GSYNC OR VRR, but I use on mine V-sync or any sync in the game. BUT, you have to maintain at least 30-60fps to have a smooth gameplay

I have this one, it DOES NOT HAVE VRR, but if you have good gpu, and enable vsync and maintain at least 60 fps, it's butter smooth. 

You can use an adapter like me hdmi or dp to thunderbolt bidirectional on Amazon. This is the best portable gaming monitor. I got used on ebay for $153.

3k 16 inch is 212ppi, after 140ppi oled in games I can't tell the difference, but text is razer sharp.

Picked this up via Amazon for 280 with one day shipping. Oled looks nice tho hdr color needs to be adjusted big time. Currently have it set to off. So far I have only hooked up a xbox series s which displays at 1440 at 120hz. Looks good, smooth. Unable to enable vrr through monitor settings or on the xbox. Wish I still had a ps5 to fool around with. I may fool around with my anbernic rg556 tomorrow. Overall, it's a nice portable monitor for casual gaming. Gonna start dragon quest 3 remake soon, so should look good. I don't play shooters so no comment. I do wish vrr was available but have yet to do real testing. For being oled I think it's worth it for under 300 bucks.

I use a uperfect OLED which is 1800p and 120hz. Its on the more expensive side but its absolutely amazing quality.

I used it in a very bright shared office on the middle of summer. Only issue is the very reflective screen so you need to be able to keep window reflections off it, but if you can do that its great.

More like lambo on a strict 60 mph highway. Enough for daily traffic, but not enough to race / game. . . and I own a Uperfect O2! … Ok I lied. I own two.

Get yourself the uperfect o2. Absolute game changer.

Mine is malfunctioning already, and I just got it too.... FML. HDMI works but Type C connection stops working. 

I have a 16" 3k 120hz OLED by UPerfect (sometimes it is rebranded to something else). It cost about £200 from Aliexpress for the non-touch version...yeah, they do touch versions! It can actually be powered by my Mac with just 1 single USB-C cable along with data. If the host machine doesn't provide enough power, then you plug in a USB-C cable to the other USB-C port with a wall charger (35w recommended). There is also a Mini HDMI input too. I haven't tried, so my advice is null. I think there's more value then a separate portable monitor that has a built in stand. Bonus if the stand supports a vertical orientation. I picked up a Uperfect 16 inch monitor recently and it's been awesome. Runs 144 on one USBC cable. Also I find with a separate keyboard and mouse I can vertical stack them.

Flipgo from Jsaux. I have two of the 16in version and a 16in laptop and a Ugreen 16in portable monitor, 6 screens altogether, all fit in a small backpack. For small stays I just take the Ugreen with me. Every screen is 1600p vertically, I could never use only one screen of 1080p like the one in the glasses some people suggest, not that I did not try it. Flipgo exists also in 14inch Edit: sorry Uperfect not Ugreen is the brand of my single portable monitor

I used a uperfect usb c monitor for about a minute and it worked. I don't know more than that as the monitor had a fault and I'm waiting on a replacement. I'd choose on Ali express, the 16inch 120hz portable OLED or the 13 inch 1080p 60hz OLED at around £200 and £100.

I recommend the UPEFECT. I use mine for my ROG Ally and Samsung Dex setups.
