Budget 144Hz gaming display; poor colors for productivity

Uperfect is fine. If its really is 125% srgb, that is more than enough to show you all the colours. 2000:1 contrast is also above average compared to the usual 1000:1 for screens that sized. It loses massively to any normal monitor its size, but is good for a portable one.
If I'm travelling light I have a UPerfect 18". If I'm bringing a checked bag I can bring my UPerfect 24.5". Both monitors were very reasonably priced, high refresh rate, with the option to buy travel bags. Would highly recommend UPerfect for gaming portable monitors. Bonus, they both have vesa mounts, so I have camera tripod like stands I pieced together that I attach with thumb screws to get them to a good height.
I tried to use an ipad as a second monitor and just couldn't do it. Being smaller than my laptop, it just wasn't helping at all other than being at eye level (which I can just do with the laptop). I ended up buying the UPERFECT 18 inch portable monitor. It's just the right size not too heavy and big enough to not lose productivity against my usual monitor. As for stands, so the UPERFECT portable monitor has an in built stand. But what I do is I prop it up on my Roost Laptop stand. So it's almost exactly eye level. And the roost stand is super light so amazing for travel. Highly recommend using a laptop stand. I considered a specifically "portable monitor stand" but they looked pricey and heavy. So glad I did this instead If you want I can take a photo tomorrow to show what I do. Also as someone else was saying, you really have to just try it yourself. I taped paper on my monitor to test if I could work with a 13 inch screen. Spoke to friends. The solution I ended with (and am super happy with) was not at all what I thought I'd do when I started thinking about it
Running into a similar issue with Uperfect monitors that claim 120hz+ but can't run that stable. I have to downgrade to 60hz. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of alternatives for something you can fit in a backpack. Curious to see responses.
I bought a bunch of “ used “ portable monitors from this company on eBay . I paid $30 ish for about this spec and it’s brand new as far as I can tell. Think it’s called upperfect
