> Is that you're take as well? well, no not really I mean, if you're just crushing spreadsheets, then you probably don't need to spend the premium that an OLED panel has, over a regular LCD panel. if that's what they mean, then sure like a 165hz panel is also probably overkill for emails, when 60hz will be just fine This is a pretty nice little panel tho. I used that 14" X Lite for 3ish years, and I was really satisfied with it. This absolutely annhilates it, and it's an easy choice to switch to it

if you're after a TABLET EXPERIENCE, a touchscreen monitor is NOT going to mimic that. that being said, s24 + a lapdock, imo, is a better overall experience than just a tablet. especially something like a nexdock 360/XL. you can have a laptop and folded over, a bit of a tablet all in 1 uperfect also makes nice lapdocks, but they're usually just a step down from nexdock

I have the Uperfect X 14 Pro wireless lapdock (doubles as a portable monitor), let me know if you have any questions ;)

Yes, I have the X 14 Pro Lapdock. It's a pretty good device, the only cons I see are the full HD resolution which is not enough to present a sharp full A4 page (only half due to the screen estate) that would be comfortable to read and the infamous touchpad, it's just fine but 2000s tier when it comes to comfort. If you have a use case for a lapdock then go for it, but tbh I prefer using my girlfriend's iPad 9 (the last with bezels) rather than my lapdock, so let it be some advice on what might be best for you.

personally i’m running one of those “portable” monitors that runs about 14 inches and vertically matches the height of my 24inch main screen. aesthetically looks nice being nearly the same height and has been fine for me @ 120hz since i’ve gotten it a little over a year ago. it’s from some brand called “uperfect” so idk how reliable warranty and support will be but not bad for the ~$130 i paid

The aliexpress touch version seems to be having lots of issues with people's type c ports not workin for audio video output and only mini hdmi works I have the same issue. Apprently uperfect is aware of this and is recalling them all. So unless they gave a fix, you might order a lemon

I used a uperfect usb c monitor for about a minute and it worked. I don't know more than that as the monitor had a fault and I'm waiting on a replacement. I'd choose on Ali express, the 16inch 120hz portable OLED or the 13 inch 1080p 60hz OLED at around £200 and £100.

I recommend the UPEFECT. I use mine for my ROG Ally and Samsung Dex setups.
