I have the Uperfect 14x one and it works really great, only thing lacking is a proper USB port, at least one to conect acessories to the dock.

personally i’m running one of those “portable” monitors that runs about 14 inches and vertically matches the height of my 24inch main screen. aesthetically looks nice being nearly the same height and has been fine for me @ 120hz since i’ve gotten it a little over a year ago. it’s from some brand called “uperfect” so idk how reliable warranty and support will be but not bad for the ~$130 i paid

the main issue is that 99% of miracast out there cheaps out, and only supports 30hz refresh it's super usable on the Nexdocks and Uperfect lapdocks (samsung m5, m7 monitors also) but it's not something you're going to want to game on, if that makes sense productivity and movies are just fine of course

For lapdocks, your choices are nexdock or uperfect No one else really makes them anymore Nexdock is slightly better than uperfect, but both are pretty good There is not a "premium" version in existence

Nexdock isn't shipping outside of the USA unfortunately. So I couldn't buy theirs.... I'm from Canada and they told me it was because of the tariffs... I ended up just making my own out of a laptop holder for your steering wheel in your work truck (also works on a table), and a monitor / keyboard setup But I really wouldn't mind the nexdock... Just really sucks the one time I want to get one, they don't ship to Canada lmao... And are you perfect one just had too many random quirks about it compared to the Nexdock That I decided against it The speakers are listed as less wattage on their website, It doesn't have auto rotate (and dex didn't support rotating your screen until the most recent beta build now on OneUi8?), The build quality was slightly less desirable, And it also has one less USB-C port which is a HUGE L for me

The distortion seems odd, I have used numerous lapdocks and external monitors and FHD works perfectly fine, when I had a Samsung Galaxy then 4K was also okay at 30hz. 1440p worked best with Dex (using Goodlock) My current Honor V3 only supports FHD desktop mode but is perfectly fine on a Uperfect FHD wired and wireless lapdock.
