I splurged and went for an Asus ProArt portable display 2 years ago. It's nice to use, but admittedly it only gets used when I travel, not everyday. My one complaint is that the carrying case doesn't carry the wall adapter well, it handles cords fine, but the wall power plug gets tossed in my carry-on separately.
