Reviews from Reddit:
Just got an Arzopa 15.6” 1080P FHD portable monitor. Only used it for testing purposes so far; working well. Will be carrying it around a conference for the next 3 days. Will post an update. Edit: got it because it was on sale and less than $100. It’s cover doubles as a stand. It has USB-C and mini HDMI inputs. It comes with a usb-A wall wart for power with a USB-A to C cable, a USB-C to USB-C cable and a mini HDMI to HDMI cable.
Full discussion on Reddit ->I purchased it when I was traveling a lot with a prior employer (alas got laid off a few months ago) and they had issued me a Dell laptop that only had USB-C ports - and they were powered ports at that, and can also transfer video through the same port / cable. (It's confusing as other laptops may have USB-C but not route video, or not provide power.) So I could hook up the Arzopa with a single USB-C cable, and both power and video could be transmitted with one cable - it was great. Now I have a old Thinkpad, and it only has an HDMI cable out along with ordinary USB-A ports. So I have to use a USB-A to USB-C cable (for power) and a (provided) HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable adapter for the video. So there are two cables - not the end of the world but it is something of an inconvenience for an extra cable. All that aside, the monitor works great. Not traveling very much now though!!
Full discussion on Reddit ->I've been very pleased with it - image quality is sufficient for 'office' uses (typically I'll have the second screen for web research or putting other reference materials like PDFs there). No problems with flickering etc at all - I like the light weight and plug-and-play simplicity.
Full discussion on Reddit ->ARZOPA Portable Monitor, 15.6''... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093GCL18V?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Picked this up on Black Friday for about $50. It works really well.
Full discussion on Reddit ->That’s a cool idea! I’ve admittedly been ignoring my Switch in favor of the SD. I was feeling the same when I was shopping around. I didn’t want to go crazy and just timed it right to purchase it on Black Friday. I was relieved to see how good this looks. I haven’t tried this, but apparently if you get a USB-C to HDMI mini adapter, you don’t need an extra cord to supply power. Keeping it nice and tidy. Again, I haven’t tried it yet. But I like to keep my cables organized if I can.
Full discussion on Reddit ->I have the Arzopa portable monitor and love it!
Full discussion on Reddit ->It was good! I bought it because I was going to be travelling for a few months while working, so it fit easily into a backpack with my laptop and you can power it via a laptop USB c port. Overall it is a good monitor it's just rather small so I found myself hunched forward a lot to read text and do work. I would recommend it.
Full discussion on Reddit ->Just found this mount on Facebook marketplace and it is working perfectly: [https://imgur.com/a/hk4nYA1](https://imgur.com/a/hk4nYA1) Overall I found the picture quality on the monitor to be great for the price, but yes the stand it comes with is kinda crappy.
Full discussion on Reddit ->You can either go with branded portable monitor, or you can go with a random brand one at slightly lower quality. I’ve got an Arzopa 15” portable HD monitor that can be driven from a single USB C cable from my laptop. The display quality isn’t that good but i got it on offer at over £100 less than the branded competitors. The project is another idea, but only works if you have sufficient space and the right room layout.
Full discussion on Reddit ->Hi! Got the S1 (second picture), but I haven't really used it much for my Mac, although I've plugged it once to test. I've used it on the Switch more, and it's been pretty good. Packaging is really nice. It came in a super large box that was stuffed with airbubble plastic wrap, and in the middle of that is the actual box that was wrapped in thick plastic packaging that also has some sort of bubble wrap lining. It comes with 3 cables - hdmi, usb to c, and C to C. I didn't really look up the specs, and i chose the ones below based on comments/own preferences: - IPS (according to comments this is superior in terms of color accuracy) - 15.6" size, my personal preference, since it fits my existing bags and is only slightly larger than Mac - it comes with its own magnetic leather stand which i like since i like orienting the monitor horizontally - 60 hz, apparently works well with the Switch because that's its capacity (???) and anything higher would just be useless if you're mainly buying a larger monitor for this specific console So far I'm liking the fact that the Mac can power the monitor by itself and it has its own volume. With the Switch it's also very convenient, it just takes a few minutes to set up. Plug-and-play! I saw from one of the FB groups I joined this nice option with a smaller screen, sa Amazon mabibili. Looks pretty good too! INNOCN 13.3" OLED Portable Monitor
Full discussion on Reddit ->Got this for $75 last week, deal still going on. Quality is OK but good enough ARZOPA Portable Monitor, 15.6'' 1080P FHD Laptop Monitor USB C HDMI Computer Display HDR Eye Care External Screen w/Smart Cover for PC Mac Phone Xbox Switch PS5-S1 Table https://a.co/d/hVYz5B3 Screen worked by using the phone battery only when I plugged it in. If plugged in a charger, it was charging the phone but very slowly.
Full discussion on Reddit ->I got the Arzopa S1-Table in the picture from Amazon for 60$ incl. shipping. It's almost identical to my laptop screen. It's not the best monitor I've ever seen, but it's awesome for the price.
Full discussion on Reddit ->Yup! Top is my laptop, bottom is the monitor. It plugs in through a Type-C to Type-C cable, but you can also use HDMI. I got it at a discount, it's usually higher than 60$, but it goes down often!
