I don’t use it for daily work anymore because I got a much larger screen but it is still my workhorse for travel. It’s a great screen to use if you need a cheaper secondary monitor or travel and need more than a laptop screen.

I’ve been using this and it fits perfectly in my Away back in the laptop zipper compartment. HDMI cable can get a little finicky, but that’s my only “complaint”. I cant get mine to work with the monitor i bought. Is there a setting i missed? I have HDMI working, but want to use USB-C only.

Yes. And using the USB C to USB C cable that came with the monitor.

It can charge. I have used different cables to test, no joy. I just dont have another monitor to test it with. Hoping it is a simple config I missed.

Ok, thank you. I was able to try the monitor and it worked perfectly with my phone via USB C to USB C. I will be checking the drivers on the G14 next. Thank you

One thing I saw in another thread that G14 only works with DP 1.4. And in the onscreen menus of the monitor, I can find 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3. So maybe the G14 can't use 1.3. I didn't see any problems in the USB drivers.

I am trying to use my G14 over USB-C to the USB-C port on the monitor. So far I have only been able to get it to work via HDMI. And the USB-C just provides power. I really thought I could use it via USB-C only. I use the G14 to RDP to work and I like have dual monitors. The portable allows me the option to leave my desk and still have dual monitors. The details in the link says it should use the USB-C AltDP mode.
