ASUS MB169B+ 15.6" Full HD 1920x1080 IPS USB Portable Monitor

I use an Asus MB169B+ and my surface had no problem keeping it powered on the stock USB port.

Generally I'm plugged in when using it. I've got the i7 Surface so battery life is crappy on a good day anyways. I mainly use my external monitor when I know I'm going to be working on something project wise for a while. I bought a stand designed for Tablets and it holds the screen up perfectly while I work.

I have massive issues with my surface pro 6 and the MB169B+. It seems like the monitor is always stuck in a connect/reconnect usb loop... Did you experience any issues like this?

Yep, that's exactly what I tried today, works like a charm now :)
