Yeah I agree I tried avvatar, myprotien and true basics unflavoured (2399rs). I would say if myprotien>avvatar> true basis. Considering the price I would say avvatar unflavoured is best for me. Easy to mix and taste decent. Only thing is I wish they had more than 1kg options
look for mb biozyme concentrate or avvatar whey protein because they are both heavily lab tested highly trusted in india and has really high quality biggest tip is dont just rely on protein powder and also be consistent with your diet. also one more thing for these protein brands u can check out my online store (svesto.com). I manually verify each batch to maintain authenticity and ensure u only get fresh packs only. u can use code REDDIT for extra 5% discount
The label from their website shows they used a blend of Concentrate + Whey , which bumps the protein up to 28g per scoop. That is 80% purity, which is rare for a flavored whey (usually they have around 70 75%). you get high protein with only 2.9g of carbs and 1.7g of fat. Since Avvatar makes their own milk (Parag Milk Foods), the Malai Kulfi flavor hits different it tastes creamy and authentic
it is cheap for a reason. you are getting a diluted product. 1. math is bad * 24g protein in a huge 40g scoop. * that is only 60% purity. * standard whey is usually 75-80%. here, 40% of every scoop is non protein filler. 2. secret ingredients * the blend: whey concentrate + yeast protein + skimmed milk powder. * they mixed cheap milk powder and yeast into the whey to lower the cost. * this explains why it has 9.6g carbs per scoop. that is insanely high. usually, whey has \~2g carbs. you are basically drinking a mass gainer light. final call: if you absolutely cant spend more, it is safe to drink. but honestly? save 400 more and buy nakpro or as it is. you will get way more protein and less sugar/carbs per scoop.
verdict: treasure (for sensitive stomachs) if whey makes you fart or break out with acne, this is a lifesaver. if you have a steel stomach, it's overpriced. 1. yeast tech * fermented yeast protein (saccharomyces cerevisiae) is a complete protein source. * unlike cheap plant proteins (pea/rice) that taste like mud, this usually has a smoother texture and decent amino profile. 2. gut health * fiber content: 3.76g of fiber per scoop. that is huge. most whey has 0g. * sweetener win: they use monk fruit. this is the holy grail of natural sweeteners. it doesn't wreck your gut biome like sucralose or aspartame. big respect for this. 3. the trade-off (the numbers) * protein ratio: 24g protein in a 36g scoop. * that is only 66% purity. * you are paying for a lot of other stuff (fiber, cocoa) here. final call: if you are vegan or lactose intolerant, this is top tier because of the clean ingredients. if you can digest milk, stick to whey it gives you more protein per rupee.
this is good protein. 29g protein per 35g scoop which is about 83% purity, but the lab report from their website shows it testing at 30.28g, pushing actual purity to roughly 86.5%. its clean with only 0.5g fat and the 100mg of digezyme helps catalyze absorption
u r right about on and avvatar is also really good
Protien powders will be made of EAAs+NEAAs+BCAAs. I've consumed more or less all best results were from Avvatar blend whey and best in taste too. If you'll go for clean one taste wise you'll find it bit bland compared to ON especially.
You should try Avvatar one as well. It's pretty light too
Unflavoured. Don't take flavoured. All are pretty disgusting.
people haven’t had good tasting protein like for ex- avvatar belgian chocolate
++ for belgian chocalate and mango rush too. Absolute shit tastes never ordering again. I tried quite a few brands in past year, I feel Avataar has the best taste and obviously digestibility and all those things are good only.
Avvatar is quite good. Cosmix plant protein is also good
I wouldn't be too hasty to blame just the maltodextrin for your digestive issues, maltodextein is bad but some people have issues digesting lactose, so maybe try isolate protein (where the lactose is removed). If I were you, this is what I'd do, try Whey Concentrate of a different brand. If the digestion issue persists then move on to Whey Isolate. As for the question you asked as to what brand I'd suggest, that would depend on the budget. I personally purchase my protein in the 2 to 2.5K range, currently I'm using Muscle Nectar which is a blend of Isolate & Concentrate & costs around 2.3K, i have previously used Avvatar, Muscleblaze, Naturaltein & Fuel One. I do not purchase Muscleblaze & Avvatar anymore because they have become ridiculously & unreasonably expensive and cost around 3K right now. P.S : I wrote all that jazz under the assumption that you are unaware of different types of whey, if you're already aware Please accept my apologies for giving unsolicited gyaan.
Doesn’t help tried. Amul and Avvatar are way way better
Between this and the whole truth, which offers better quality?
I'm currently consuming avvatar, but they've increased their prices a lot. So I'm confused between yogabar, muscle nectar and the whole truth. Anything that is above or similar to avvatar works for me
