Bulk Nutrients raw (unflavoured) WPI. In water and a little milk. Add vanilla essence or coffee for flavour. The sweeteners in protein powders and bars really mess with my stomach, so now I avoid them.

Nothing worse than when the plastic seal comes apart in shipping and gets clogged with protein so when you rip the top open it spills everywhere and then never closes properly

I bought one from bulk nutrients and it is packed in Australia from zero percent Australian ingredients. Looks like it is now made from imported WPI and no longer made from Aus made WPI

True Protein is made from WPI sourced from New Zealand which has stricter food regulations and better quality milk in general. Bulk Nutrients is from imported WPI of unknown origin (most likely china) so cheaper, but not as high quality and healthy.

They never have sales, I've been buying WPI and Creatine from them for 10 years, 5kg at a time for a good price, always consistent quality and flavour

Don’t go through a lot of protein powder but paid $48 for 1kg of WPI from BN in March 2025, 41% increase in less than a year is insane. Electrolyte plus which I do use a lot has gone from $17 to 20 for a kg for comparison

Bulk Nutrients is the answer for the cheapest per gram of actual protein. Their WPI works out around $35-40/kg and the protein content is solid. International Protein and True Protein are the other two worth knowing, both Australian-made, similar price range. The trick when comparing is to check protein per serve divided by price per serve, not just price per kg, because some cheaper bulk powders are 70% protein and others are 85%, and that gap is where you actually save or get ripped off. Also check the WPI vs WPC label, isolates are pricier but cleaner if you want minimal carbs and fat.

Can anyone explain how True Protein is $89 for 1kg and Bulk Nutrients is $58? Both are WPI. I looked at the amino profiles and protein per scoop and it’s almost identical. They are both sourced from grass fed cows too. I only buy the unflavoured versions of protein so flavour choice isn’t a factor either.  Why would anyone buy from True if you don’t want their specific flavouring? Am I missing something lol?

You can get unflavored wpi powders too. Have a look at Bulk Nutrients wpi.
