Im also trying to increase protein intake and honestly protein powders are helping so much 😭 but im still hesitant to try whey proteins because i easily get digestive issues. Heres few ones i tried so far - Cosmix : I tried all the sachet versions of their almost all theirs flavors that was available on blinkit I only liked Indonesian cacao and chikamaglur mocha. Honestly drinking their protein powder with water doesn't taste that great but is manageable to drink when I use milk and doesn't make me hungry easily. Mille : This is the best one I have tried in terms of the consistency and taste. Like cosmix it's not chalky and also manages to keep me full for long like I took one scoop with oats at around 9:00am everyday and wasn't hungry till 1:30 pm The whole truth : I tried the cold coffee and taste wise I feel is similar to cosmix but doesn't keep me full like how Mille did. Happy Cultures : This too I tried the pack that had all their flavors in one box and I honestly liked all of them. Taste wise not like cosmix but not as good as the one from Mille. Currently trying cosmix pro and honestly don't see any difference between their normal ones and I also plan to try one from super you and yogabar just once but if these two turn out to be similar to cosmix then I'm going to stop experimenting and stick to the one from Mille because that is the one I like the best I terms of taste ( because there's only two options unflavored and coffee) and I love them both. And I'm in same situation with respect to milk im also currently in hostel with no access to induction 😭 so I buy the lactose free milk from Amul or their taza small tetra pack of 200ml and if not available i try to find tetra packs of any brand that doesn't require any refrigerator to store. For lunch I try to include Greek yogurt if not everyday atleast alternate day . At night since someday I have time to experiment and eat I try to buy chicken or cook soya chunks but some days I just make a sprouts chat salad and call it a day.
Let me link what I take: https://cosmix.in/products/real-indonesian-cacao. I've tried their yeast once as a sample and had no issues. But if you suffer from repeated UTIs and internal infections like candida, I would avoid it.
Cosmix s great. And you don’t have any proper source of protein. Add low fat paneer with the chilla. Grill it lightly on the tava and put masala on it. Greek yogurt to every meal And those bars? Check the sugar content
Cosmix is great! I also have issues with whey and their plant protein has not affected me in the list. Solved my gas issues too 😄
Cosmix pro version, not the regular one. Also, I've been having the Provilac chikoo milk these days. It's nice and has 26g protein
Tried many brands but settled for cosmix pro it’s giving me good results
are it is some yeast protein My concern is same as you OP, I tried whey isolate and got khatarnak acne Cosmix try kar liya and it feels like atta, very chalky Ab ye naya hain mille yeast protein, uska ek sachet aata hain for 255, gonna try that now I want something good for stomach, and dont forget to mix protein with fibres, eat lots of fruits or make a oat and milk shake
I’ve only tried the pro (yeast protein). I’ve realised if I mix and leave it for half an hour, it barely feels chalky.
I really like plant protein as someone who has gut issues. I tried whey protein and it gave me diarrhoea. I have used cosmic no nonsense plant protein and the pro version and liked both but they do have a chalky texture for sure Currently having Superyou chocolate flavour and the texture and taste both are great Veg sources of protein that I consume: Paneer Tofu Soya chunks/ Granules Tempeh Moong dal Rajma Black chana Chikpeas (Last 4 are higher in carbs though and not primary sources of protein) Don’t forget to add fibre to a protein rich diet or you might get constipation
Cosmix unflavoured version. Most other protein powders either bloat me or aggravate my inflammation.
I have the unflavoured one. That is exactly what I have mentioned in my original comment.
All pea+rice plant protein will have that chalky taste. It’s its character. I use fermented yeast plant protein from Cosmix & Mille. Both taste incredible. Plus it has same PDCAAS as whey & the best DIAAS for a plant protein source
You can try trial packs for taste I tried Cosmix, did not like it at all. Currently using The Whole Truth unflavored
