Ghost - Clear Whey

Of the ones I’ve tried, Rule1 clear protein powders have the best taste. Ghost clear isolates aren’t bad, but they are super sweet, like hard candy. Honestly no protein powders tastes great to me, but the ones that are supposed to taste like chocolate milk hurt my stomach.

For flavor alone, it has to be ghost. Its not cheap though at $50 for a 2 gallon jug. ON is good all around and their prices have creeped up a bit as well.

Kinda hypocritical for me to say since Ive been buying mostly ghost ptotein lately but no, the flavor difference is not worth it since ON’s flavors are also very good. My personal favorite flavors for ghost are 1. Count Chocula (discontinued unless you order off amazon). 2. Chips Ahoy (also discontinued unless off amazon) 3. Peanut Butter Cereal Milk. The other flavors are meh. Surprisingly, i like PBCM over nutter butter. Also, I would recommend buying the sample pouches from ghost which are $2.50 for 1 sample serving on their website. You can sample it out without committing $50 to a tub. For ON, my favorite flavors are: 1. Chocolate Peanut Butter 2. Extreme Milk Chocolate 3. Vanilla I typically have a vanilla and a chocolate tub simultaneously on hand and switch between the two as to change it up a bit. I put protein into an easy to make smoothie with crushed ice, 1.5 scoops whey, 1/2 scoop PB2, a banana and skim milk.

Isogold (expensive) or Ghost. Both vanilla-ish and taste fine. Try the /workout sub, this gets asked all the time.

Ghost for me. I bought into the Naked hype these posts always get, but man does it taste bad, and no amount of mixing reduces the grit.

Most of the Ghost stuff is good. I didn’t scroll far but I’m guessing the Naked evangelists are here. That stuff is cheeks. Don’t fall for it.

Ghost tends to be a better protein for taste and for digestion (it has a bunch of enzymes in it that help) but it has 190mg of sodium per serve.

Fairlife premade shakes are the undisputed king of protein drinks and I don't think it's particularly close. Pretty much just chocolate milk. Jocko is decent also, as far as premades go. For powder, I think it varies a lot depending on what you do with the powder. There are some that taste good but don't mix well, basically requiring a blender. It also depends on your tolerance for artificial sweeteners. Ghost has interesting flavors but have way too much artificial sweetener for my taste. My general preference for powder is an unflavored whey isolate that I can add the flavors to myself (something like NOW Foods Sports Nutrition). If I don't have the time or energy to make it myself, that's what the Fairlife premades are for.

I swear by ghost. Best tasting protein powder I’ve ever had. Their energy drinks too

Kirkland brand, optimum nutrition, and ghost are what I rotate through depending on my mood and what I’m using it for.

ON or Ghost. I use them both. Ghost in the morning when I wake up , digests easier than ON and has better taste for “good morning”. I find ON , relaxing my muscles for some reason. Maybe it’s placebo but I never felt it with another protein. It’s my night drink , after training. Works for me. Also the tastes of those 2 brands are for me the most natural. Everything else I tried tastes like laboratory chemical thing.
