I have tried a ton of vegan protein powders and I haven't been a fan of most of the unsweetened flavors. I drink mine plain though and do not use them in a smoothie. I do really love the: BEAM (Be Amazing) Brown sugar oatmeal, Planta Ambrosia Chocolate Caramel Candy Bar & Ghost Vegan Cinnabon (this is much more sweetened vs the other 2 options.
Ghost Peanut Butter Cereal Milk
I put ghost vegan peanut butter protein in a cold brew for an afternoon pick me up. It dissolves well and I enjoy the taste of that combo
It’s not strictly vanilla, but Ghost’s Cereal Milk is amazing. I use it as a base.
Ghost vegan - no whey farts
Nah, just add it to some almond milk and blend it’s fine.
If taste is the priority, I’d look at brands that consistently get love for flavor, not just protein per dollar. PEScience Select Chocolate Cupcake, Ghost Chocolate Cereal Milk, and Optimum Nutrition Double Rich Chocolate are the ones I see come up over and over. They’re not perfect, but they’re way less chalky and don’t have that weird chemical aftertaste. For mixing in just a shaker bottle, whey blends usually beat straight whey isolate or plant proteins for texture. They come out thicker and more milkshake-ish instead of thin and watery.
I recommend trying Ghost protein cereal milk, already finished 2 of them. If I’m not wrong, you can order small sample packs of different kinds of flavor (each sample around 3 dollars)
I love Ghost cereal milk - it mixes into hot oats so nicely 🤌🏻
Dat Ghost Cereal Milk. I’m at a point in life where I can afford it. Finally. Up til now it’s just been gold standard vanilla, I think ima start doing a 50/50 mix.
Ghost does a Vegan Chocolate Cereal Milk that I love for overnight oats (I make them drinkable consistency). Gnarly Vanilla Vegan protein is my all time favorite but it’s pricier.
