Best protein to calorie ratio is Transparent Labs. Ghost has great flavors. I love the Cinnabon in some Greek yogurt.

Ghost fan over here too... mix with the fair life for even more protein. I am not a huge sweets person- so the coffee icecream one is my go to. Samples are like 2 dollars for some of the others if you want to try them. :)

+1 from me on the ryse cinnamon toast. Best protein I've tried. I do 2% milk, protein, butterscotch pudding mix, pinch xanathan, and then you can use whatever mix in like graham crackers, cookies, biscoff, or cinnamon toast crunch. 9.5/10 from me. The next best one is the Ghost Oreo protein. 2% milk, scoop of ghost oreo, oreo pudding mix, and a pinch xanathan. Mix in 3 oreo thins and I dont think its possible to create any other ice cream that taste that good with similar macros. Delicious pint of oreo blizzard substitute at like 400 calories and over 40g protein 9.4/10

I love the Optimum Nutrition Extreme Milk Chocolate. Ghost Whey Chocolate is good too. They taste close to shakes, mix well in shakers, and are smooth.

I’ve never been a fan of premade protein drinks in my coffee, but people rave about it. Personally I’ve found that using the ghost cinnabon protein powder mixed with fairlife fat free milk is a great creamer substitute. All together it’s 31g protein and 167 calories. I enjoy the taste much more than the bottled ones. For reference, I use 110mL milk and 34g protein powder.

r/ninjacreamiUnderstanding "Protein Powder" better and why it's used

We've just been freezing the RTD protein shakes in the flavors we like. Alani Nu makes a few pretty good flavors and the zero sugar vanilla muscle milk is good for adding mix ins but I was actually using it as my go to mid day snack before the creami. I also use the galactic brownie from Pure Protein if I want chocolate but that's my other go to for snack time so I knew it would be good anyway. Fwiw, we did vanilla muscle milk with 1% milk added, spun on light ice cream and then added some smashed up muddy bites (tips of waffle cones filled with chocolate) and it was fkn delightful. Definitely appreciate the powdered milk info though 🤙 Edit: Forgot to mention that I ordered some Ghost sample packets to make and freeze - I know their macros are probably not as good as some other brands but the flavors are good and 🤷‍♀️ Oreo Protein powder = already made cookies and cream lol

r/beginnerfitnessWhat's the best protein powder 2026 based on last year's reviews that taste really good?

I think the protein powder taste and mixability is the key to stay consistent with taking it. If it tastes good and mixes easily, you’re more likely to use it and actually hit your protein goals. I've had some really protein powder with really good ingredient quality that tastes pretty bad, and I don't like to keep drinking it. Like you said, if you dread it, you're not going to drink it! I've found whey isolate proteins to be the easiest to mix and digest, they don't clump at all or leave any sort of texture. Some regular whey proteins are fine for this (and the quality is still amazing), but for texture, whey isolate is the way to go. My personal favorites that I keep buying (after trying pretty much all of them over the last 15+ years) are Ghost Whey (I like Chips Ahoy flavor), Dymatize ISO-100, and Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard, but the flavors are a little hit or miss. Most chocolate ones are pretty good from Optimum. The Chips Ahoy from Ghost has actual dehydrated cookie bits in it, so if you mix that with milk, it tastes like you've been dunking cookies in there and you get all the little cookie bits at the end, it feels like a treat more than forcing myself to drink a protein shake!
