So one thing I've done for the longest time when im not hungry but need more protein in my day (even not on shot) is take a protein shake toss in a scoop of powder ontop of that, chia seeds, and Greek yogurt with a packet of sugar free pudding mixed in the large tub of it before mixing it all together. Comes out tasting like a damn milk shake. Works great when all 3 are the same flavor. So I use a pre-made 40g protein shake add a scoop of GNC AMP wheybolic ripped chocolate fudge 20g protein, chia seeds 5g protein + more fiber/filling sensation, and Greek yogurt 15g protein. 80g protein in a shake just like that. Have your ingredients all really cold or toss in a freezer for 15-20minutes shake real good again and taste damn close to a milk shake and goes down easier then eating a ton of food. With the brands I use its about 500 calories for that drink tho. Can drink all at once or split it throughout the day. I also get in close to 200g a day in protein every day.
The best tasting powder I've used is GNC's Wheybolic chocolate fudge. The best pre-made I've tasted is Core Power strawberry.
Wheybolic™ - Chocolate Fudge is quite good. I also like and regularly use Jocko Fuel protein. Good protein to calorie ratio.
Isopure and GNC are the best brands. Rest are second class.
Go for gnc U can get it for around 2500 by using code - AKSHAYSHARMA Their flavours are super hit and way better quality than others in this segment Have tried atom- uses low quality whey even tho they pass every test Go for a more reputed and quality brand if u have an option in the same budget segment
I am currently cutting and Whey protein is obviously great but it does cause bloating to me everytime, I take it, now I just take it on Tuesdays, when I don't eat non veg. Now I rather prefer 250g Chicken breast 5 whole eggs 100g Greek Yoghurt I manage to get around 100g-110g Protein with 1700-1800 calories which I feel is fair enough. However yes, if whey protein didn't cause me issues, it would have been much easier for me 😭 I have tried GNC, ON, Avvatar, MB, Nakpro, Nutrabay And all of them did give me bloating. I take 2 scoops of Whey on Tuesday now, when I don't eat non veg, and add some more Greek Yoghurt and Low fat paneer.
Just go with any reputed brand : Muscleblaze, GNC, MyProtein, Muscletech, Avvatar, Naturaltein, As-it-is etc Don’t fall for Isolate protein, just buy normal concentrated whey protein (example: biozyme performance whey from Muscleblaze) Simple. DM if you need more help Also, <2000 kcal on a 6’3” frame is quite low. I am 6’2” myself and I eat atleast 2500. If your trainer has suggested this diet, have a 2nd opinion from someone.
This is my base recipe: •1 1/2 cups Fairlife whole milk •1 scoop vanilla protein powder •1 Tbsp. vanilla Jello pudding mix •½ tsp. vanilla extract •Pinch of salt 340 calories for the entire thing. I will change it up with different protein powders and different pudding mix flavors. My vanilla tastes the same as store bought vanilla ice cream. I gave it to my husband and he genuinely couldn’t tell the difference. I usually use Axe & Sledge Vanilla Milkshake if that helps. We also have a GNC brand vanilla protein that tastes more like French vanilla than straight vanilla if that’s something you enjoy. With a sweet protein powder, I have found that you don’t need any added sweetener. Mine is quite sweet without adding sweetener. Run this recipe on lite ice cream setting. Also helps if you let it sit out for a few minutes prior to spinning. If it’s powdery, 1T more of Fair Life will fix that.
I think you just have to play around with it and find what you like. Trying to find the optimum protein powder for chocolate still. I’ve tried ryze cosmic brownie (amazing texture but it has too strong of an artificial taste for me) and GNCs chocolate so far. I add some sugar free Hersheys syrup on top and cacao nibs to enhance chocolate flavor. Winning options for me: I like the base of 200g of fair life and 200g of almond milk Add a little salt Monkfruit sweetener over truvia Sugar free cheesecake pudding mix 1.5T for texture. Cake batter extract + gnc vanilla protein powder for birthday cake ice cream. Pb2 + vanilla protein + sugar free Reese’s+ cacao nibs + little chocolate syrup on top. This is so addictive
