It's a bit overwhelming. Be prepared to try a couple of different options. * A pre-made drink such a Fairlife's Nutrition Plan are popular as their chocolate flavor is considered some of the best. It's a good value via Costco. You can buy other versions of their protein drinks at Amazon such as PowerCore, which is also available by the bottle at retailers if you want to try one. It's not the cleanest food around, but it tastes good and can address your immediate needs while you explore options. * A clear mix-in like Isopure Citrus Lemonade can be added to water and taste like Crystal Light. I ordered from Amazon. I mix mine into 16oz of water. * Whey protein powder can be added to yogurt smoothies and has a bit of a milky taste. Some may claim that it can be added to food, water, etc, but adding to a dairy-based drink is best and perhaps on the larger size like 12oz+. It's Just Whey Concentrate is what I've been using this past month. It has no flavor and avoids all the added stuff. I ordered this from Amazon as well. * Whey Isolate is an even more concentrate powder with less of a milky taste. * Whey is less expensive and fairly neutral taste but if you are unable to do dairy, then there are a multitude of plant-based options.
Isopure's unflavored has no sugar or sweeteners.
Unflavored Isopure for me. I’m adding it to stuff, so why would I need odd flavors? Too bad Costco doesn’t carry it, but the Amazon price is okay.
I have only ever had the unflavored isopure, but I've had it just with water and mio flavoring and it's great. I also use it as a flour replacement for dredging chicken lol
Unflavored Isopure. Then blended with milk, banana, peanut butter, bit of honey and cinnamon
I use Isopure’s unflavoured protein and mix with soy milk instead of water for double the protein!
Isopure non-flavored. Can add that shit to anything. All the flavored ones are too sweet and get tiresome over time. I'll still buy various flavored protein powders, but I \*always\* cut them with the unflavored Isopure. Otherwise, I just mix the Isopure with whatever I want to get whatever flavor I like (most of the time, I mix it with matcha tea).
Lately I've been mixing isopure unflavored protein (1 scoop) with fairlife chocolate milk (8oz) and water (3oz) to keep it from being weird and thick
I like. ISOPure. It comes unflavored 👍
OOOOOOHHHHH, I'm a lot like your partner in this respect. I HATE most sweeteners. Stevia, sucralose, aspartame, sugar alcohols, monk fruit, doesn't matter. I also just want protein for muscle support, not some weight gain formula filled with fat and gobs of real sugar. I gave up on anything flavored. I've basically settled on Isopure unflavored which only has two ingredients, whey protein isolate and lecithin. I mix a scoop of that with a dash of honey and half a squeezed lemon with maybe 5 oz of water in a blender bottle. Throw it in the fridge to give it some time to let the foam settle then top with crushed ice. It tastes pretty good to me, a little bit like a melted frosted lemonade but thin and refreshing to drink. Mild powder texture but really not bad IMO.
